I used to do that but i havent skipped Op and EDs ever since i watched Angel Beats. Reason being that sometimes there are scenes after the credits. I actually missed the after credits scene in the last episode of Angel Beats the first time i watched it.

How about you? Do you only skip openings and endings you dont like?

i make sure to watch the entire opening at least once (usually at first or second ep) and then i skip them until the end of the series or when the opening changes. i generally don't bother with the endings

Yes, because heaps of anime have uninspired cookie-cutter openings and endings that do nothing to hype me up for the actual show. I usually watch the OP at least once, and I might even watch it more than once if I really like it. I don't usually care for the ending at all, because I have the attention span of a child.

I watch everything for the same reason. So many shows have miscellaneous after-credits scenes that I decided to just watch everything and not miss out on what's there.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

I skip them when:
1.) I am marathonning a series (4+ episodes watched of the same series in a day)
2.) They aren't appealing to me

I typically always watch them otherwise.

I watch them the first time, and afterwards I skip to the anime & after-credit scene. I tend to marathon things, so it really helps me out. If I really like them, then I'll watch them a couple more times, but I never do that for the entirety of a series.

I watch them + read the Lyrics for the first Time and just let the Songs run as Background Noise while browsing MAL and/or Google News for the following Times on my second Screen.

Sometimes, it depends if i like them.

By example this 3 openings and endings:

Openings

    1) Fullmetall Alchemist Brotherhood OP#4
    2) Death Parade OP
    3) Durarara!!×2 Ketsu OP

Endings

    1) Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood ED#1
    2) Fate/Zero ED
    3) Shokugeki no Soma ED#1

I never skipped those s and endings, because I love them

depends on the show. some like cowboy bebop i did skip, whereas some I don't like yugioh. Also, if the opening is short I may not skip it even if I don't think its great

Openings - always unless it's HxH'99 OP 2 or Berserk's OP.

Endings - always unless it's HxH'99 OP 1 or Berserk's ED

I always watch the OP/ED on the first and last episodes of an anime.

I always watch the OP/ED if the song/animation changes (usually when the anime transitions into a different arc or enters the 2nd half)

I will skip the OP if the music is not really to my liking.

I will skip the ED if there are no previews at the end. If the ED is not that great but still has previews, I will skip the ED, but still watch the previews.

I will always watch the ED if the ending animation and/or music constantly changes throughout the series. Examples include:

Sora no Otoshimono
Donten ni Warau
Katanagatari

It depends. Usually I give them all a chance, and then decide from there. I think I mostly watch/listen top them unless I find them irritating. Or if I am binge watching, then even if I like them I skip them 'cause I wanna know what happens next...

inb4 thread is moved.

I almost skip all of them. Sometimes if it catches my attention and it's good OP/ED, I watch it untill the end of the show.

I watch OP and ED at least twice, if I don't like it I usually skip. The reason why twice instead of once, because I realized many times, that I might not like certain song first time I hear it, but it usually grows up on me very fast.

I skipped most of Death Note's 1st opening to save time and I kinda still regret it(I didn't appreciate teh sounds&visuals~-~). It was my 2nd anime. Haven't skipped an op&ed since.

I watch the OP once, but I usually skip it every time after that. I hardly ever watch the ED unless I like the music.

You can just press "next" on your player to go straight to the after-credits scene.

Well... yes.

It's not my taste to me when it comes to 'bad' stuff happens like when the character dies & cliffhanger moments but ED song plays.

If it's my post really doesn't really suits you, that's FINE. I'm just here stating my emotional thoughts & reactions to it.

At first, I listen bits of openings and endings to check if I may like it. However, since I generally don't, I skip it a lot, but pay attention not to miss anything from the actual episode.

Well, I skipped a few because it was not really a good listen... In fact the 2 first OPs of One Piece(which I'm watching now) is not to my taste.

I mostly watch them once and then skip them always after that but sometimes I let it play if it's a cool OP/ED and I feel like watching it.

I pretty much never skip an opening. I think the only time I did was with TG season 2. The OP was ass. Endings I do skip though, unless they're good.

I almost skip an opening every time except for the first episode usually, sometimes I even skip it in the first episode. I always skip the ending but when I see there are more than 2-3 minutes before the video ends I check if there are still some scenes left.

All the time. For some reason, I've never really been a fan of OPs and Endings anyways, with the exception of the OP for Tokyo Ghoul of course. Plus, I feel like it's a waste of time.. That's like a minute and 30 seconds for every anime that you watch, excluding the ending, so if you watch 10 episodes a day that's like 15 minutes you lose a day!! No but seriously, I feel like it is a waste of time :$

Openings I watch at least once, and usually skip after that, unless I really like the song.
I might check a bit of the ending the first time, but most of the time end up skipping it altogether. I'll check for after credit scenes and always hope they don't have them because it makes it easier to get to the next episode.

Besides a few, i don't really like anime openings so i just skip to the show. Some of them can be 2-3 minutes long as well and I'd rather just get to the content.

I dunno, if this was a few years back during the time of F/Z I would totally be up for it, but then UBW happened so I'm on the fence about your idea. The animation would be good no doubt, but not sure about anything else.

What you didnt like UBW? I personally loved it but i guess people have different tastes.

I don't skip them unless I don't have time or I'm trying to watch a lot of episodes.
Anyway, I can get really obsessive over some songs so I can spend up till an hour replaying the same opening/ending on youtube.

Always skip generally. First time I'll watch but after that skip unless I really like it.

If there's scenes at the at end of the ED I skip to the end of the ED and watch the scene. I've only seen a few anime that have done this though, not common afaik.

Pretty much exactly this. The only time I'll watch the opening other than at the beginning and end of the series is if it's a really good opening.

For the post-credit scenes, I just skip the ending and go to about 15-30 seconds left, whenever the next episode preview or whatever starts.
