BL Manga 'Hitorijime My Hero' Gets Anime Adaptation

It was announced via the official website and Twitter account of Ichijinsha's gateau boys-love magazine that Memeko Arii's yaoi manga, Hitorijime My Hero, will be getting an anime adaptation. More information about the anime will be revealed at a later date.

Hitorijime My Hero has been serialized in the magazine since February 2012. It currently has four compiled manga volumes with its fifth releasing on July 15. The fifth volume will have two editions, both with a flap revealing the announcement. It has also been announced via Twitter that the series already reached 700,000 copies in print. Its parent story, Hitorijime Boyfriend, was released in 2010 with one volume.

Shadow chan, I think it can really can GET A TV!!! Cuz the publisher is Ichijisha right, and Loveless is published in that company, and we got Loveless. I REALLY HOPE THAT IT WILL BE A TV SERIES! Even if it's 10 episode long, I don't mind.

Yes it's a cute manga, I didn't read it but it's written in Baka update that this manga is about Teacher x student relationship. I'm not sure about that tho.

Exactly. We waited all these years, we supported our fav BL mangakas, and this what we get.

The only thing that I'm scared about is when they announce that this manga will b a tv series with 5 minutes duration. I'm really going to cry T_T

Well I guess your right but it does get annoying to see there hate comments in every Shoujo/Bishie thread :/ If you ask me Doctor Sexy, TragedyDesu and any one who loves trolling must not be allowed on this threads. I mean everyone is allowed to say express there opinion but not by insulting something you know you won't like :/ Please Mods put a stop to this and keep them far far far away from these threads cause we're getting fed up with there childish behavior.

I never seen the manga before and I even check, it was not upload on mangago which probably one of the most reliable source to read BL manga (correct me if I'm wrong). But the cover photo looks really nice, hope the anime is good! Anything related to BL, I support.

Its parent story is published digitally in English by JManga (but then the company went defunct) I hope it gets re-licensed :)

I think all the teenage girls are a little wet at the moment hearing this news. I am not surprised....this first looks very meh to me. I may skip it since I'm not a fan of these shows usually unless they do something cool like Black Butler.
