| Yea I have a major fucking problem with this show. It's only 11 episodes long!!!! Deen finally produces a fucking good show and it's only 11 episodes? Fucking hell. If this doesn't get a second season confirmation before it even finishes airing I'll have lost faith in Japan. And one of the better things is that by the looks of it it'll only be adapting 2 volumes at this pace which is nice. I don't know the manga adaptation but from what I've read from the LN it's spot on. |

| I'm so glad I picked up this show because every episode has been hilarious so far. I get what people are saying about the sloppy animation at times but it adds to the comedic effect for me. There needs to be a season 2, I will not stand for only 1!!! |

| Well it clearly is AOTS, apart from Boku Dake. Although Boku Dake can go down for sure, depending on how many people will be angry when that part got adapted. The terrible animation actually helps with the comedy. I don't mind the animation, heck it's a lot better than DEEN's previous anime called Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and Higurashi, both anime's animation is terrible compared to KonoSuba, but of course. DEEN delivers both anime greatly. And yes. My big problem is it's only 11 episodes (with this pace, from what I heard, will be only 2 out of 8 volumes adapted). This better got a second season like Zombie, and didn't get killed off after 2 seasons because of bad sales. Overall, from initial pre-orders, KonoSuba ranked 1st this season. So this should motivates DEEN to produce a 2nd season. |

| The MC is the only character I remotely like so far since all of the others are either weird, stupid, useless or a combination of those. I know it's supposed to be a parody and stuff and it is indeed funny (for me anyway) at times, but I just can't get into it that much.. maybe if those girls would be more likeable... well in episode 3 I even came to dislike MC with his weird panty stealing addiction. Although not sure if he can influence/decide what he steals or not |

Just note that this isn't like those harem or op mc. The story isn't meant to go anywhere. If you don't find it funny then you won't enjoy it. Well yeah, the art and animation if being frank was crappy to be honest. The pacing was faster and they skip quite a bit here and there with limited episode. But they did well on adapting the hilarious part mostly. I laughed just as hard as when I read the novel. |

| Comedy wise, this is the best this season by far. I'm hard pressed deciding what my AOTS is between KonoSuba, Boku Dake and Shouwa Rakugo. This is just funny AF. I don't even notice the poor animation because I'm too busy laughing most of the time. |

| This show was really unexpected for me. Went in for a mindless generic anime and came out with one of the best comedies I've watched this year. I hope this gets more popular so they get improved animation and another next season. |

It's MAL. I've come to the conclusion that if someone on here cannot defend their argument adequately, they just call us, the reasonable ones, trolls, which really is ironic. With that said, KonoSuba is not a show I can enjoy in any way, and the humour in this is honestly juvenile at best and degrading and discriminatory at worst. The only parts I could stand were the "Explosion" segments in Episode 4, but even then it grew old fast. |

To answer the OPs question: No I do not like Konosuba. How could people like this thing would be a better question. Konosuba has no story. What story? Where is it? Show me! I looked so hard my eyes bleed but there is no plot. Hard to believe this has 11 episodes! 11 episodes! We are 5 episodes in and it all feels just like one giant bad filler. What's next? There is still 6 episodes of this that's some 120 minutes of what? More filler? More degrading, insulting and abusing of the female cast? Konosuba has no character as a show nor it has any characters. You can hardly call cardboard cutout stand ins without character or personality characters. IMO the only reason there are any characters at all here is to sell dakimakuras, pvc figures and hentai... evidence to that being the male to female ratio. While its always nice to see a show giving more girls more screen time than guys it is bad when its done for the wrong reasons. If only the girls were treated with respect. At this rate I might as well just watch any generic hentai. Nobody can die in this show. Nobody can get hurt in this show. And nobody even cares about such things in this show. The whole Demon King or what not, is it even real? Show us something already don't just make passing verbal mentions. The most dangerou thing they fought up till now was lettuce! Add a lesser soul gem and a ball of yarn and we can go summon Sheogorath on a rainy day. And then it will rain burning dogs! That would be the first funny thing to happen in this show. Konosuba has no tension, no suspension, nothing. It literally puts me to sleep! I had to drink two large black coffees to make it through just one episode. The comedy which is supposed to be the focus is bland at best if any at all. Most of it is primitive. Then we got imature sex jokes targeted against girls. Or lame attempts to parody video game mechanics. All of which fail badly. Its over all just not funny. My stone cold face for the duration of the episodes is a permanent standing evidence of that. The wierd and straight up idiotic actions and reactions of the characters doesnt help. People should actually play an RPG. They would know that this idiocy is nothing like any actuall game. The only moment Konosuba had any reference to gaming was in ep.1 where they were setting their classes at that wierd thing that sh*ts out those tickets. Beyond that this has even less to do with RPGs than DanMachi or Grimgar. If you want RPG references look at Log Horizon. That is how you do anime about RPG. While I can still point out some flaws in that one too, nobody can argue that the RPG asepct in there is not good. At the end of the day this anime is only a parody of its self. Nothing about this show can be taken even a little bit seriously in any way. Turn off your brain before watching this or it will get hurt. Konosuba is a bad parody of a bad parody. The MC of Konosuba is nothing but a stupid perverted useles abusive little shut-in neet. He is spitefull and immature to boot. How can you like that guy? The argument that he is not op does not stand either. Look at the rest of the Konosuba cast, the MC is literaly the only person who is ever successful at anything and everything. Its as if the entire city is filled with useless incompetent idiots. You never see anyone other than him do anything. So the MC is indeed OP. Maybe not overpowered in the true sense of the word like that little edgy bit** Kirito from SAO. But being the only one with at least a shred of common sense in a city full of stupids is just the same. This goes double for any woman in this show. They should rename them to walking fanservice and waifu items. Lets not forget that the Steal ability in this anime is the end all be all of skills. Especially because the MC mostly fights or threatens girls and steals their panties. Of all things he always goes for the underwear. Wow real mature humor right there. The author was a grade schooler right? The 3 main heroines or rather harem members suck up to him and literally prostrate themself for him. Tell me after all this that Konosuba does not have male power fantasy and controll over girls in it. The only things any good in Konosuba are the audio and the art. Some may not like the art but I say its okay, there are worse. It can be nice in some frames but it can also be bad at others. Not the most detailed. But at least thank god its not another A1 Pictures crap. Audio simply gets a pass, it is not bad. Konosuba is average at best. IMO below average due to all the juvenile misogynistic, degrading and discriminatory bullshit. So take all those 10/10 and show em somewhere. This anime is no way deserving of the title of "anime of the season" or god preserve us "anime of the year". Seems like the author wanted to imitate SAO and Gate or something but he only took the worst elements of them. P.S. Some here seem to believe that because somebody thinks being an ass to girls, beating, bullying them, stealing their underwear and generally treating girls like shit is a very bad thing to do and is not funny in the slightest they must be feminists? Well shit, then I must be one too because I also find hurting girls in any way disgusting. Though I dont remember signing up at the local feminist recruiting center. This is literally everywhere now a days.
