| Most characters that are deemed useless by the majority of MAL just because they don't play pivotal roles in the story (aka Sakura can't singlehandedly defeat Akatsuki therefore useless). Although that's an ironic example because I loathe Sakura, but she's far from "useless." |

| I guess Sakura Haruno? she has fans, but I'm not sure if her hate, is a minority or not. Sasuke too, but in his case, it's obvious that it's a minority hate. Other characters: Hirome from True Tears Sa-chan from Gintama (well she is not hated, but not that popular) Ayatsuji, Tsukasa from Amagami SS (also not sure if hated, but I liked her the most) |

Aka being a cheating bastard treating girls like objects. I gladly put him above your typical harem male MC. Do I like him? Pfft, no, but I like the idea behind him and what his actions made. | I'm sure we have another thread for this, but: Shimura Danzo from Naruto and Sakazuki (Akainu) from One Piece. While not my favorite from either series, I believe the reason for their hate is highly hypocritical as other characters who've committed similar actions (perhaps even worse) get praised to no end. As for a genuine favorite, I can't think of any at the moment. Though I suppose Suzaku would do, as I like him more than I do Danzo and Sakazuki. |
