Des said: This ep was pretty meh. The horror was nothing near frightening. The op was too happy for a horror anime. Agreed. Also agree, that this wasn't so "creepy", not even frightening to me. But, i'm interested in what will happen in the future series. My only question is: a) are people dying BECAUSE of Sakakibara? or b) he(Koito) will die(or already died)? I give this episode 4 cookies out of 5. Although, i think i should have rated it on 3.. |

| The two guys like to run. I'll go out an a limb and make an assumption they'll probably be doing a lot of that later. First impressions. Loving the atmosphere seems like my type of anime. Also because someone mentioned the whole elavator 12356 thing. I learned from XXXHolic that you'll never see a number 4 in a hospital. Would have thought there'd still be something there though. |

| Kouichi is defiantly a brave soul. Trapped in an elevator with a pretty girl, that he didn't notice when he first got on, almost like he couldn't since her presence? But once he did, he started talking to her. Not so sure I could do that. And once he noticed where she was going he seemed extremely okay with it, as though that sort of thing were normal. It happens to him everyday. He gets on elevators with pretty girls, who ware an eye patch, and who stop off at the morgue, for a living. I mean he seemed almost unphased by the whole situation. Oh... but later he showed a little bit of emotion while they talked on the roof-top, though it wasn't much. But still... perhaps the scariest thing about this anime might just be that when something happens the main character, Kouichi, won't show that much emotion. Well this anime has a good atmosphere. I hope that it lasts through the whole series. ~-animedance-~ |

| Intresting facts about the number 4 not being included on the elevator. I even didn't notice it lol (wow my eyes aren't as sharp as I thought...) love the dark eerie feel and the haunting bgm. I wonder why that girl freaked out when our main mentioned Mei and whats up with those weird dolls? Does Mei like collecting them or something? Oh well I shall cut the bs and just move on to episode 2. |

| I liked it, but didn't love it. Still kinda waiting for that grasping story line to come along. Although i LOVE the connection the beginning made with the girl not being seen by anyone else. Brilliant there. |

| The scene where Misaki showed up behind Kouichi scared the shit out of me. This anime did an excellent job in creating a creepy atmosphere. However, the OP and ED doesn't fit into it though. |

| Dislike the opening. Love the ending. At first it was bland and boring but then the last scene created a great atmosphere. First Impression: 7/10 |

| This ep definitely had that eerie atmosphere but it was kinda... predictable? Like I was pretty sure she was headed towards the morgue when he asked her where she was going, and the "rich city guy in a new town" setting isn't anything new (Higurashi, anyone?) The art is amazing, the details and colours are just lovely. Something seems off with the class though, like when he's being officially introduced to the class, everyone seems too stoic (even the teacher), though they seem pretty normal after that. I'm really looking forward to where this is going. |

| Great Episode :D I love the atmosphere and creepiness of the show ^^ Though one of the main girls looks pale as hell, especially Misaki O___O Hearing Ali Project's music after so long!! They still have the same style i heard from Code Geass and Rozen Maiden XD Can't wait for more! Though was hoping it would be just as long like Mirai Nikki |

| Go watch xxxholic. Horror shows nowadays it's not anymore something that can make you jump out of the seat or watch with your hands before your eyes.. I dare to say something will be even quite predictable, but is all played on the psychological side, and creepy as well.. |

| First time seeing the show, it's alright so far I guess the suspense and everything just creates a weird atmosphere lol(but it's suppose to do that) I'd give it a 8-9ish/10 I thought that Mei was gonna be at least cute or something(Idk lol she is pretty but the graphics and shit is just weird overall for me) :P |

| What a creepy class! Even when they are talking to Kouichi, all at once, they are still sooo weird. And what was that all about when they visited him in the hospital? Izumi was pretty rude to him, she made him look like he's hiding something. All in all, interesting start :) Opening song is just horrible... |
| Didn't like the OP very much, the ED was nice though. Very strange atmosphere, I wish Kouichi would just ask what's going on because the class members seem so creepy. |
| I've watched this episode after reading the first volume of the manga, and I think there are a couple of things changed but nothing that would affect the anime. Another thing is that I had is a nostalgic feel from the ED, I think that I saw a similar ED before. First impression? 9.5/10 |

| Good first episode. I've heard a lot of mixed things about this show but it's not bad so far. Interesting cast of characters, good atmosphere, nice set up. I like the ED. |
