I don't know why they changed the things they did, the manga was so much better :/ hopefully they'll improve. |

| Not a bad first start. I thought it would be lame, but it took me by surprise. After finishing episode 1, I found myself clicking my way to the next episodes. I hope this anime delivers for all 51 episodes. I'm not really a shoujo or acting fan, but this anime is going great. I definitely recommend giving it a chance. |

| First episode was okay I guess. Premise reminds me a bit of Skip Beat but obviously, I see this is more serious in terms of mood. The animation seems to be quite realistic though and slow paced so I enjoy what I'm seeing so far . Nice OST as well. I'm listening to this with my headphones and loving it~ 5/5 for first ep |

| Fairly standard first episode. Nothing too interesting happened, just a bunch of set-up. That one chick with the short brown hair (don't care to remember her name) is definitely the queen bitch of this episode though, geez. |

| I watched the OG series from 1984 and the OVAs released a few years before this remake. The 1984 version is visually a lot closer to the manga. The story is going at a much slower pace but it's also nice to see more of Maya's family situation. Here's a couple of fun facts for anyone into these: 1) Maya's OG seiyuu is now voicing Himekawa Ayumi's mother; 2) Genzou from OG series is voicing the narrator |
