| That was certainly unexpected O_O, to see a return of a character from a previous season as an opponent, although it seems Ippo's weakness is showing through, so this match may actually be quite even. |

HA! Are you freaking serious?! That was HIM?! Whoa! I didn't even think that was possible. I didn't recognize him at all. This does bring up a good point. Ippo lacks killer instinct until he's pushed to the brink. For someone with so much power, he should be putting foes away much more quickly. Sendo is one thing, but he's a champ now & he doesn't look it at all. |

| Yamada is back, and he has changed a lot, he's bald, gotten stronger, and now he acts like he's top gun. I wonder what made him like that in those 2 years, guess I'll find out when he fights Ippo, that fight seems that it'll be exciting. |

| Damn, I completely forgot about Barf-Michi's existence. Don't get why he's a total dick now though. Honestly though, as much as this match should be super emotional and good on paper, I feel like it'll just be more annoying than anything though. I can already tell Ippo will wind up getting owned again due to being a little bitch. I could be wrong though |

| Damn, I felt nostalgic hearing the names of Yamada and Jason Ozuma. I wonder where Jason is now... Although I had bit of a feeling that Hammer Nao is actually Yamada, the revelation was insane lol. The 180 degree turn in his character sure surprised me. |

| OMFG what a bombshell!! I was expecting/wanted to see him again at some point right when he left the gym but this?! WOW!!! I actually love this twist. 2 years is a lot of time so he has built a personality, after being bullied for so many years he's now taken the other side. He has worked really hard, got strong and looks like he has put a shell on him so none can make fun of him anymore (I'm sure he's still fragile deep inside). But in appearance, he's serious and distant and it looks like he now can be a bully to others if he has to. That's what he did to Aoki and Kimura, let's be real, they were making fun of him all the time in the past lol. I'm wondering if there is something else in this personality change, like his mother dieing. I'm wondering about Ippo's situation for the combat now, he's still extremely restrained and merciful after 3 or 4 years since he started boxing. He hasn't changed at all in that sense. And he will probably have trouble against Geromichi because he will feel bad about hurting him (lol!) I expect Aoki and Kimura to tell him to go all in against Geromichi because he's all serious about stealing him the title and will have no mercy even when he idolized him in the past (did he wash that up? me wonders). Ippo has to get any doubts off his head and go punch him hard on that ugly face to win the fight. Or he will be in danger, he may even lose it (doubt it though). |
