| Oh hello for the first time. I say honestly. Ep 22. Plot: Kaiki returns to Senjougahara's hometown to begin his investigation. While speaking with Nadeko's parents, he notes how limiting Nadeko's "cute" label was and how even her parents are trying to preserve that status quo. He later greets Nadeko face to face and after learning some about her promises that he will visit her as her first follower. Character: Kaiki shows good skill in lying to get his information. His one crew up with introducing himself to Nadeko was a pulse pounder but luckily for him, she has forgotten about him. Nadeko is full on coo coo for coco puffs. Yet still strangely adorable. Animation/sound: All good. 4/5. It was a delight to see Nadeko and realize how screwed everyone is if Kaiki screws up. |

Still, it seems like the resolution of this story could be an affair of Gahara and Kaiki, as unlikely as it seems right now. There are hints to it literally everywhere. I didn't expected Nadeko to be so cheerful and it sure surprised me. But I'm now starting seeing Kaiki in very different light. So had he lost someone (Gaen) in traffic accident when he was younger while he didn't even tell her he loved her? This unrequited love is something he has in common with Nadeko. Or wait, could it be that Suruga is... |

| Nadeko's parents are disturbingly calm about their daughter's disappearance. If I ever went missing for three days, my parents would most certainly have gone into my closet by now. I have to admit snake god Nadeko is adorable, though her snake hair would probably freak me out in real life. If she won't even listen to Araragi, I have no idea how Kaiki is going to deceive her. |

| "Services? You mean sexual services? *I ignored that* Lmao his monologues are great, in particular the way he directly addresses the audience. It's pretty genius in that sense because it always feels like he's in-character and not really being himself. Him and Nadeko played off of each other really well too- I think it says a lot about him that he might be the only character who understands her (and so quickly as well). In just a few pictures and one visit, Kaiki's already achieved more than Araragi has. But then again, I think that stems from Araragi's own little delusions. Also, Snake god Nadeko is best Nadeko. |

His monologues are the best, his black sense of humor is the best, his character design totally suits him and to bring it all together, that catching tune hahaha. Besides, he saw through Nadeko's stupidity in just one second. How can you not love him?  |

Apparently, Araragi was visiting Nadeko in her shrine and she keeps on almost killing him. Motherfucker. Ugh. Oh yes. I remember now how much Araragi despise Kaiki for doing those shits with Hitagi and her family, so that's understandable and I used to hate Kaiki so fucking much, but holy shit now I fucking like this guy. What the fuck happened!?!? Hahaha. "By the way, Kaiki. Well, can you lend me money so I can buy my flight home?" Hahaha Hitagiiii! Been wondering where did she get that money she gave Kaiki. "I see. Kaiki is the epitome of people who fucking hate Nadeko and it's like 99.8% of Monogatari Series fans. Kaiki: "You're in love with Koyomi?" Nadeko: "Yup! I totally love him! | Kaiki's such a cool character, his ominous like presence and monologues just make him such an interesting character all around. I like how we got different protagonists for these arcs in this season, really mixes thing up in a good way ya know? It's so weird to me seeing Nadeko act like a yandere. It's always the quite ones that turn out like this huh? Regardless, I found her scenes oddly enjoyable to watch yet scary at the same time. Also forgot to mention last time, but the new ED and it's visuals are pretty neat. Theory time - I believe that Nadeko has a shrine of Koyomi in her closet, hence why she told him and her parents not to open it. That is all. |

| A solid ep. We got to know more about Nadeko. It's amazing what you can do to a girl when calling her cute too often, and more crazy what love does to people in this series. She is not the first person to become an aberration because of love. However, I can understand it must really be irritating being called cute all the time like what her parents have done all the time. Apropos her parents, I wonder why they didn't let him check her closet. Makes me very suspicious. I highly doubt they haven't opened it, and rather hiding something. Anyways, her face and skirt looks nice She looks quite cute, though her personality is quite annoying. Most people would find such a personality annoying. I feel like this is the inner personality that she hasn't revealed before now. In other words, she has shown a fake version of herself all the time. Currently, Kaiki has deceived her quite good. Makes me really curious how he is gonna deceive her to not kill Araragi and the others. |

Especially with the Monogatari series, where the opening changes very frequently. I would understand One Piece and Naruto OPs because they are used for many more eps., but not these ones. Either way, I have stopped skipping openings. The details are revealing themselves better with the 2nd and 3rd watch. |

| Another fantastic episode! Kaiki must be the one drawing the doodles in the previews lmao. Kaiki, with just a conversation with Nadeko's parents and some pictures, managed to know what kind of person Nadeko is, and he was fucking 100% accurate. I wonder what was in Nadeko's closet. Nadeko is cute as shit, she'll probably kill me me if she heard me say that. But, she's as crazy as she is cute. Nadeko saying how she'll kill Araragi is so disturbing like damn. And she really discarded everything else, the only thing she remembers is Araragi, she filters everything else out. I am starting to see now why Kaiki is best girl lmao. I am guessing the one Kaiki is referring to that died in a traffic accident was Gaen Tooe. |

| Cat's Cradle!Loved the Doraemon reference. Kaiki visits Nadeko's home while posing as a parent of one of Nadeko's friends. Her room was cute and all but there's probably some dark secrets in that closet. It's pretty clear that she is forced to be cute all the time. Oh Kaiki you have no idea how perverted Araragi is XD.Nadeko was being adorable as usual but she's also out of her fucking mind. She'd rather have her love left unrequited than be in a relationship. Kaiki's becoming a very likeable character. |

  Pfft, Kaiki has one of the best character designs in this whole series.   Loved watching his observations, seeing how he'd work out what the deal with Sengoku is before they even talked, really cool, Kaiki's really smart.  Words I never thought I'd see from Kaiki.  Hahahahaha.   Awesome episode. |
