| So share ur stories, for what u have been banned durning ur long internet experience. Durning the entire decade I was banned for (chronologically): Game Tibia - reason bad language (7 days), I spoke near gamemaster in my language, opening spoiler at ur own responsibility: Game Tibia - reason bad language (15 days), this time I made mistake and send message to game chat instated of guild chat. Game Vindictus - reason racism (account delete), It's not like im racist... but I was enough stupid to become leader of guild named "White Power", few days after delete I found at forum 20 pages thread if "White power" name is racist and video at which I was "kicking" dead player on ground. We loled hard whole month in school. Game Minecraft - reason planting tree on [my own] house (forever) - I still dont understand it -.^ Game World of tanks - few chat mutes for trolling people and mods MAL forum - I wont tell u reason Hehe (3 days) That's all I remmember |

| From the PlayStation forums because of something I said in a conversation about whether Agro from Shadow of the Colossus is a male or female. I was also temporarily banned from a few servers in Battlefield 2. |
| I used to scam on runescape and got banned a number of times for that. Also other things aside from scamming. I've mellowed out a lot since and only have been banned here on MAL since, and only for a couple of days for name calling. |

| I've mostly been banned from games, because of bad language and abusing the ingame voice chat. One I remember was when me and my friend queued on the North-American server instead of Europe and we were talking shit in German and Russian the entire time. We got banned for refusing to communicate with team, trolling ingame voice chat and insulting other players. |

Banned on Diablo 2 because people reported me for scamming.. then I got better at it and never got banned again for it. <- I was like 12 years old don't judge me :D Banned on MAL for a few days.. only ones I can think of. |

Also, I have to wonder - with the amount of users in here saying they've been banned from here 4-7 times - what's the use in banning at all? Doesn't seem very effective unless permabans still exist. |

I figure while not nearly as effective as it could be, even just temporary banning is at least annoying in that one can't use the site's features to talk with others or update and keep track of anime. People might like to avoid loss of site usage, even if its just temporary. |
| Back when I was an edgy and angsty high school kid I used to crash TF2, CSS, and GMOD servers intentionally using various exploits. I've been caught a couple times but never had my account seized or anything, but w/e i grew out of video games over a year ago. |
| I think once from this german rap forum I used to frequent, but I don't remember why. Never been banned on MAL though, and I don't feel I'm really restricting myself either. People who get banned that often are mostly derailing/chatting, which is something I try not to do (too much and for too long in one thread, lol). Aside from that I've done most on Mellow's list though (working on the 10k post count). |
