| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So Daiba tried to tell the people of the Earth about the upcoming invasion and after a person who tried to help him died he was thrown in jail, upon escaping he decided to join up with Harlock on the Arcadia. An okay episode, people really stink again but what do you expect from Earthlings. |

| Tadashi seems to have no choice but join up with Harlock. That Prime Minister and the Army guy really are annoying. |
| It's really interesting how complacent the people on earth are, I think this has some relevance actually. But, the series has a flair of over dramatizing things and I don't mean in a good way. For example, the ridiculous twinkle characters have in their eyes ever now and then is...ridiculous to say the least. This is a very hard series to take seriously because of that, which is a shame. That said, this was a pretty decent episode. |

| Harlock casually sipping wine while piloting a pirate ship reminds me of Captain Nemo. So the Mazone script looks like Mayan ideographs. I'm not saying it was aliens... but it was aliens! |

| Realizing that the people who run Earth are corrupt and oblivious to their own demise, Tadashi joins Harlock and the Arcadia crew. Although, how did the Arcadia get to Earth so fast? I'd swear that ship is magical or something, lol. |
