DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode Daiba's dad is shot by a mazone and killed so he is then offered a chance to ride the Arcadia and fight back. An okay episode, even if Daiba knowing about his father's death from halfway across the city is impossible. |

| Another great episode! Really interesting development and this sure reminded me of Uchuu Senkan Yamato's crew, especially Yuki and that robot! All in all pretty decent development, I do wonder what happened to Maya though. |

| The scene in which professor Daiba was shot was visually very interesting. A good example of how expensive animation isn't necessary for the scene to be just as good or even better than those directed by modern standards. It looks like the show is still introducing the characters and is taking its time to get to the plot. |

| If I were to apply the "Three episode rule" to this anime, it would only just barely would've passed. Good enough for some, but it's still not doing much for me. |

| I had a feeling that Tadashi's father would die. Thankfully, Harlock arrived in time to save Tadashi. Harlock wants Tadashi to join the Arcadia crew. He'll likely accept. |
