My favorite PS1 games were the Spyro games, 1 - 3. I personally think they are some of the best games on the PS1, my favorite being Spyro 2. I borrowed 2 from my cousin over 10 years ago, and I still have yet to return it to her. Played throuh all of them to 100% again recently.

But the one that will always hold a special place in my heart is Devil May Cry. I got it all the way back in 2001 when it first came out. I had a demo disk before that which had a few games on it, but it had only a trailer for DMC.

I think it was the first PS2 game I ever played.
Really, I'll never forget that game.

Super Black Bass on the SNES.
...I rented this game from the local video store enough times as a kid, I could have bought it ten times over. Beating the game was far beyond my five year old capabilities though. I finally accomplished that after buying a copy a few months ago.

Turtles in Time was another good, nostalgic classic, as was Final Fight II.

For me that would be my very first MMORPG. I have played numerous MMORPG's now over many years, but nothing will beat the true nostalgia of my very first MMORPG which sadly was shut down a couple of years back.

My friend was streaming it earlier on today and I nostalgia'd hard. I'm going to shamelessly link his Twitch account. He isn't on at the moment but if anyone watches Twitch check him out when he's back later. He's only just started streaming.

Although I like games such as Mega Man 3 and Chrono Trigger better, when I play Super Mario World (The first game I ever played) or Super Mario Sunshine, I feel a deep-seeded happiness that isn't often found. Sunshine was perhaps the first game I played that was just happy and pleasant all the way through, despite it being the second hardest Mario title. It's all bright colors and water and upbeat music, even without the nostalgia I wouldn't be able to play it without feeling instantly better.

Terranigma (SNES) made by Enix is one of the games I play every once in the whilebecause of its fantastic story and soundtrack.
Sadly no one has mentioned the game, though it was never well known in NA at all. If you have interest in action RPGs then play it, it's worth it.

For newer games I'd pick Okami anytime. Expect for the difficulty (way too easy) it's more or less a perfect game.

I've played a lot of MapleStory, quit, started, quit. Brings a lot of good memories, even if the game itself was shit; there was good people. (private servers)

Also Counter Strike: Source, it was probably my second game; it was really fun. I've played this long ago, and looking back it was REALLY fun with all my friends and stuff.

Tales of Eternia. JRPG best of all time, even though the plot is trite, but for only one fighting game system can be put 9/10. Passed it 8 times, each time discovering something new, but the last time was almost completely missed a couple of items in the book.
The second place I would put FF9, wonderful tale with very good characters + card fights better than FF8.
And in the third place I TEC Morrowind. Here and say nothing.
Another mention such great games like Vagrant Story, FF4, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Digimon World 2, Jade Сocoon, Persona 2, Legend of Mana and The Unholy War. They are all on my computer and when I go to them, then just pour tears.
