| It says they "confirmed a season 2" but I was there (made sure the guy who they used for a 'source' was tweeting it from the same panel already) and all he did was confirm there will be MORE Psycho Pass and that they are working on the script. This was in response to a question that was asked like this; "if there is a season 2, ova, or a movie or something will it show more of Kogami's past?". He never said season 2 - this retard who works at Funimation they are using as a source assumed a season 2 on his own. He never said if it's an OVA, movie, or a season 2. |

Aside that, only Production I.G. knows what it'll be. I'm happy for more Psycho Pass at all, but I definitely agree - a season 2 is what I'm really hoping for as well. I'd probably be most disappointed by an OVA, they tend to not really add much. At least a movie could focus on some character development or new (but quickly taken care of in comparison) plot line. An OVA could touch on those but not accomplish it on the same level. |

| Yes, Psycho Pass had a pretty good ending and can stand there as a single show without problems, but there is enough stuff (that i could think of as possible) for another season. They did nothing against those brains which are obviously bad guys (even if they lead the society right now).. and I can't believe Kougami would be gone for good, especially when Kogami and Akena obviously have feelings for each other.. |

| I wasn't a huge fan of PP but it had some strong moments and an interesting concept, so I'm actually quite happy. I think this story needed to continue and wasn't resolved to my satisfaction by the end of season 1. I wonder if this season will be about Shinya acting as a vigilante and Akane being tasked with hunting him down. |
