It is worth knowing the source material of this work dates back to a 2011 3DS title (aside from the 2012 sequel, 2013 Vita title, a mobile game and some manga spinoffs). Ikaruga from Senran Kagura had her design confirmed by the 13th of April 2011, while Fairy Tail's Kagura made her debut in Chapter 225 (Jan 25, 2012). Perhaps I would have said "Isn't Kagura a lot like Ikaruga?" then, of course I would be ignoring other black haired girls would wear similar getups (Homura from 2011's Madoka Magica who likely has artwork dating in 2010 and so on). The animation of the combat was a bit higher than I expected and given the works myself and KLAC have seen, the fanservice is relatively mild on the charts aside from being within the bounds I think the two 3DS titles (and likely the Vita game by extension - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk3J0UBgrAQ) so far have set. It did a good job at introducing the main cast, minus Hibari (>_>) and some of the tension with the Hebi School. |

| As much as I hate to say it, I feel like the boobs are just....weirdly big. They don't seem to go with most of the characters and have an odd shape to them where it's just like they're there just for the sake of big boobs and look weird. Idunno it throws me off a little. I hope there's a little bit of drama considering what was in the OP |

Katsu-nee was great too, the other 3, meh. Nice transformation and WTF-LOL @ the sensei eating that. 5/5 - I watch ecchi and compare it against other ecchi, and this was wonderful, and personally found the art very appealing. |

| Busty girls doing cute things and being ninjas. Sounds like fun, as was this episode. Loved the OP and the ninja transformations. Apart from that, typical ecchi. More boob groping next week please. Loli villain looks pretty cool. Instantly recognised Kitamura Eri and Imai Asami's voice in there too. Another reason for me watching. |

| Not an impressive beginning. Everything seemed uncoordinated and posed. Other than the road worker moment with Hibari which was unexpected and fun, everything felt like a hodge podge of images and voices jumbled together. I normally like these seiyuu but with (for example) ,Katsuragi doing a non-stop Yokoshima-sensei impersonation, it got tedious quickly. |

I can understand, but I don't think that's what male leads are used for. This show gives off a different vibe from K-On and Sora No WoTo which have all female casts. It seems like all this show has to offer is fanservice. Never have I seen such straightforward shoujo-ai before. |
| Being an ecchi, I expected at least one loli in the main 5. Hibari should have been a loli and is it just me or does Yagyuu have a girl crush on Hibari? Beautiful opening and some nice animations. The story, well, I haven't seen much of it to say whether it is good or not. I guess, a 3/5 for the episode is good for me. |

| So much fan service. Half about ninjas, half about fan service. Kind of boring with such characters as ninjas, but I like the idea of different schools having their own unit of ninjas. I am still unsure of what to expect from more of this series, I'll have to wait. 4/5. |

| It’s to say that the anime is very nicely done and the service is being quite the sexual erecting one. The story is deep and that’s what I am after. It might be generic with 2 factions but how it’s handled makes the difference. So far I am hoping kind of like Maken-Ki with serious vibes of Ikkitousen. It’s bad it did not please the Manyuu people but then again it’s tamer than Manyuu TBH. However where the ecchi is tame blood should be in and violence. I have kept track of a total of over 30 breast shakings or more. At least I know I can do 25 GIFs and different ones. So it’s looking intense. Panties shots are less but Katsuragi will change that. Brainstorming. I can see people are pleased with the tranformations. That’s fine cause most of them are tierh flashy or ecchi so you like it for either or in thee end art. | I'm reading the manga and am enjoying them for what they have to offer, so I was looking forward to this show. This first episode, though nothing great, wasn't bad either. Pretty entertaining actually. Homura is awesome as usual. However, the one thing that kept bugging me was the art. Having seen the PVs I was expecting something visually pleasant. But instead of a nicely polished piece it looked as if they had made it look worse. A few things were off, such as the contrast/shading, the lack of detail, or the dullness of some of the backgrounds. For example: PV version: Anime version: Yes, the background was changed, but that's neither a bad thing nor what I'm trying to point out. Take a look at the actual figure in the second pic. What is up with the unnecessary darkening? Another example: And it's not just during the night scenes: So I'm wondering, is it just the vid(s) I watched, or does the final TV product actually look like that? |
| Jesus they put too much darkening into the scenes. (All releases I've seen has it.) Came for the plot boobs. Animation quality so god tier. 7:17-7:20 Food mess goes all over floor and after that it instantly disappeared. Looks like Asuka supposed to be the Granddaughter of "Legendary Shinobi".. |
