I liked the latest episode tbh.

The road war was exciting to watch. Only in Jormungand: PO this season can you see this stuff. Jonah sure is a boss this episode. I also think Jonah made a new friend this episode as well :D

Movie logic kicks in again. Guys shooting back and forth nonstop in the tunnel and hardly anyone getting hit besides some broken glass and taillights. As soon as they exit the tunnel and the helicopter shows up with three gunners onboard, KABOOM goes the enemy cars. Fun to watch though!

The animated gun fight scene just looks so unrealistic.
Let me describe it:
>Guy sees Jona on stairs.
>Guy shoots Jona.
>Jona dodges.
>Tojo goes in front of Guy.
>Tojo and Guy shoots each other.
>Guy's chest gets hit while Tojo's shoulder gets hit.
And they really professional soldiers? = =|

Beautiful episode even though the firefight seems off when Tojo faced off against that guy. Nonetheless, the conclusion between Tojo and Hino is awesome. Great departure that finishes off his arc well.

Looks like things are about to get crazy yet again next episode. Lol @ Koko's face.

cue car tunnel chase long enough for helicopter back-up down goes SR people & look at tojo's past from life as SR member to meet with kasper.

& now meet tojo's ex-boss with all doing throw in the towel get back to his wife & daughter with saying one of these tojo will be back in SR with drunk koko make sure tojo stay.

THIS! Haha xD And what's with the people? Sure they might think it's a movie at first but this time they were just way too calm and ignorant for it to be realistic :P
And let me add that it seems that Jonah's assault rifle has a magazine size close to that of a light machine gun, lol.

Anyway, all in all I liked this episode, specially the end part was very heartwarming :)

Amazing episode, I really loved all the action this had.
Bad ass stuff, although pretty unrealistic at times.
I wonder if the next episode actually has all those parts which the preview had. Usually it's one introduction episode and one kick ass episode after that.

Indeed, pretty lame stuff. I expected Tojo to wear a bulletproof vest or something like that since little Uzi bullets can easily be stopped by that. But instead they did something lame like this.
I almost never read discussions after I made my post, if you want to reply PM me or post on my profile page.

While these unrealistic gun fights bothered me a lot in the previous scene, they don't seem to bother me that much now. In general this season has been a huge step forwards, both character and mission wise.

Colonel's intentions of putting the SR squad on a suicide mission confused me a little, but then I remembered:
''People don't change, but organisations do''
''When a man quits his job, he has to clean up after himself''
Unless I wasn't paying enough attention and he actually said his intentions in a clear way, I really loved that I had to put the pieces together.

It hit him twice actually. Koko stated it while talking to Hino.

Totally awesome episode...I don't know, maybe a bit anti-climatic but the actions was really good, the shooting in the tunnel was epic.

I loved the OST and lol at Tojo getting employed by Kasper 20 mins after resigning hahahaha
I'm liking Tojo more after this arc.

Was that a jealous Koko when Mana hugged Jonah? XD

Am I the only one who doesn't understand the logic behind this arc?

Col. Hino sends his SR squad to wipe out Kasper and Koko who is muscling in on his trade. (okay. I get it that part.)
Hino looses his entire squad...
and that was his plan all along...
because he wanted to disband the SR squad and retire with his family?!
...WTF?

That's a pretty fucked up way to disband his own squad: send them to their deaths. It seems to me Hino's the biggest TRAITOR. Are we expected to forgive him because he has a cute daughter and wife?

Hino: "Hey, no hard feelings right? I just sent a bunch of professionals to kill you guys, put two bullets in your arm, and caused total mayhem in Japan. It was all part of my plan. I knew you guys would kill off my entire squad."

Tojo: " Oh yeah, don't sweat it."

Real smooth Hino. Real smooth.

Well I think the point is he was afraid of being killed if he just left (hence his comments on how they hated Tojo simply for leaving, and all the comments on how "the organization changes while the man doesn't"). Still doesn't explain why Tojo doesn't just put a bullet in his head, though.

I think there's no hard feelings because the SR stood no chance in the first place. Like you said, Hino knew that the SR were fighting a losing battle and that Tojo and co. would kill them off. It's hardly strange for someone as manipulative and intelligent as Hino to do such a thing. He may be a traitor but it's not something to dwell on. The SR wanted to fight, Hino let them and got away safe and sound.

I think the part with his wife and kid was more for Tojo, it showed him that Hino was a different person to who he had considered to be.

It was definitely an interesting conclusion.

You all get the feeling that Koko has serious separation anxiety issues? First she finds a B-52 to bomb the hell out of one person who took someone from her, then she gets rip-roaring drunk and abusive at the mere idea of a second person from her team leaving her.

Makes you wonder what she would do to the guy who stood her up at prom :-)

Then again when your brother is a homicidal maniac, and your two best friends each know about 172 different ways of killing someone, I guess you sort of can't blame her.....

I would have bought it if it wasn't for Koko&Co being put in real mortal danger (they were seriously attacked and anyone of them could have died easily), and we all saw how Koko reacts to threats towards her harem not that long ago :P

Yeah aiming is either perfect or perfectly horrible, no middle ground.

Did anyone else smile when Lehm's helicopter revealed itself? I found that one of those funny oh sh*t moments.

And Koko's jealousy rage for Tojo possibly leaving was a little warranted. She had just lost R.

I don't like Hino's logic in leaving his group to die like that. He's a conceited asshole for abandoning his men just so he could live a peaceful life with his family. Other than that, it was a good action packed episode.

Yeah that was amazingly bad. Same stupid stuff happened in first season battles too. This show is better on the strategic political-spy games than in showing battles really.
Haven't seen the manga so i don't know id it's the mangakas fault or not.

I don't think people get it. He didn't leave his people to die. His people were essentially dead from the moment HCLI decided to go after them.
His men wanted to fight, if he didn't let them then he would basically play the game Toko expecting him to play and HCLI would have knew what they would do and win. If he let them go on a rampage then it would have been something HCLI wouldn't expect but they weren't strong enough to make that work ether. So no matter what happened they where dead.
Because of that he decided to grand them their last wish and let them fight it out and also get some retirement time for himself.
As why they didn't kill him in the end? Well there was no reason to. He obviously retired to live with his family. He looked like a man with no intention on getting in their way anymore so there was no reason to kill him.
