Weather it was good or bad I always think about it for a little while. I then just move on to the next! But sometimes if I REALLY liked an anime I will re watch.

When i finished any of my favourites (all of them finished sad for me), i felt depressed, i tried to not think about them but they couldn't get out of my head... Usually i start watching new anime that will cheer me up.

I don't know that feeling, my favorite anime still hasn't ended yet.
One Piece FTW

But for my other favorites, I get a little depressed. Think about the show for days, look up tons of pics and amvs, listen to the OST. Look at how much it costs, and then get reminded that I ain't got no money. Plan to eventually rewatch it in a year or two.

if the anime is really good and I love it : I will feel some of me is gone.. and kinda sad.. then my little heart say "noo it has end!? I dont want this sh**.. hey you (myself) look to the internet if it has another OVA or next season right now!!!" and then I get myself to my precious computer.. dont matter what time is now.. :3

if the anime just good : I will say "aww bros it has end" then I watch some episode from the anime which I like.. then watch another anime..

if the anime not good and really bored : I will say "finnally it end.. time to watch another anime... next day open myanimelist add to my anime list and give score.. done.. :3

I take a deep breath.

I let it settle in my mind that it is over. Over the next few days - and this is if I really liked it - I'll obsess about the characters and songs.

Depends. I don't like when Anime ends. it usually means no more refreshing episodes.
But I can always rewatch.

Though how I feel depends on how it ended.

Usually I marathon something, so when it ends it's kind of my fault. And I don't watch the disgustingly long shows. So I just kind of deal, maybe I'm a little sad that it's done, but I just obsess over it with the fandom for a while before moving on.

Now that I'm actually watching airing anime... When Attack on Titan ends, I'll have a pretty deep period of sadness. When Blood Lad ends... Nope, I'm so not prepared for that.

I feel an empty void for about a couple days where I don't watch anything and wonder what I do next in my life. Then I find another anime which I absolutely love then the process repeats.

look for OVAs or specials
find none
read doujinshi
feel largely unsatisfied and empty

I end up being incredibly sad due to the fact a story's ended and a world's disappeared.

It's ridiculous how sad and empty I feel when a good anime finishes.
But after a few days (week if the anime was godlike) I just move on and carry on with my life.

I end up reading the manga if it continues on from the anime which helps immensely

It doesn't happen too often nowadays but usually when I complete an anime (or even a book) that I loved suddenly there is this void within me and I walk around completely out of it with my mouth wide open. I feel lost and 90%+ of my thoughts are centred around that anime so I can't concentrate on anything else. It feels like I'm mourning a loss and trying to get over some great tragedy. Everything around me reminds me of it. Sometimes I shed a few tears too.

The more I liked the anime or whatever I have finished the longer it takes for me to slowly come back to reality. My last obsession was Fullmetal Alchemist and it was prolonged by Brotherhood but FMA:B helped me to get over FMA and put it to rest in an attempt to move on and find something new. It still took a few months of trying to distract myself with other anime that just couldn't compare. I've still yet to find another anime that brings me as much end of the world feelings as Fullmetal Alchemist did. I've completed ones since that have gave me the feeling briefly though but nothing on the scale of what Fullmetal Alchemist gave me.

If it is just one I really liked then it only feels like I'm having a small crisis and I also feel a little disorientated for the rest of the day. I usually don't sleep well either.

To summarise, I feel empty like nothing else matters any more, everything else is complete dog shit in comparison and I'm standing on the edge of a cliff looking in to the abyss waiting for the apocalypse. ...I think people might think I'm a very sad person now for feeling that way. It is genuinely how I feel when one of my favourite anime ends though.

I feel really sad, almost desperate. But then I search online for the possibility that there is going to be a new season. If not, then I search MAL for something that is similar to the show in question. Usually after this, I am ready to move on with my life. Still there is a hollow part in my soul, where the show used to be. [*sigh The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya]

Regardless of whether there was a happy or sad ending, there's still a gap I can't seem to fill. But gradually as time progresses, I move pass the feels and become content.. Until I look in my downloads folder and realize I'm still depressed, then I re watch it. Thus, the circle of life.

It depends for me...

Rarely I feel like an anime is good enough to not need another season which usually results in feeling-that-life-is-now-completed, or that it was a story that came from somebody's ass.

Mainly, I feel bliss with a mixture of emptiness. Bliss because I realize the anime was really good and I enjoyed it alot but empty because I want a continuation. It's kind of hard for me to move on when I feel complete bliss with a good anime (That needs a second seasons) so it usually takes me a week or so before starting a new anime.

Luckily, I am watching currently airing shows so I can get out of my bliss mood faster. (And get slapped in the face by reality faster and less painfully). If I really enjoyed it, I would probably watch it 7 times, though I don't do that anymore. (Made a mistake with Kaichou wa maid sama and watched it 7 times, I lost all the feeling in it) so I watch it 2 months apart for the feeling to be kept fresh.

That's about it. If the anime has what I call a manga/light novel-interlude (AKA making the anime end with uncompleted goals just to make you look at the origin source of the anime) then I will probably do it.

Seriously.....how do you revert the feeling of anime ending hangover? 0.o It doesn't happen all the time, but when I finished watching anime that leaves me wondering or doesn't end the way I wanted....It's freaking heavy in my heart! I can't stop thinking about it for days until I accepted that it happens that way T.T

....Anyway I sometimes watch horror or slasher movies if ever I have this sickness, but...my weak mind and heart cannot handle those scary and gorish films.... I guess it's better not to sleep well for a night rather than stressing my brain for days:P

I'm glad it ended before it was ruined by being drawn out and milked for $?

Never consider your favorite anime ending a bad thing unless a) the ending sucked or b) it was rushed due to external factors (money for example)
