for your information...i am by no means the oldest on MAL...not even close...i have several friends in their 50's and one in his 60's...there is even a club dedicated to those of us over 30...it is a private club and you must prove your age to join...i am a veteran and there are a couple of clubs just for those of us that served or are serving in the military

Yes, we are rivals on ice. I have been watching as I said since the 70's and it is a great medium, much better than anything hollywood puts out. I kinda watch anything, except naruto or dragonball z. I find that hollywood slaps me in the face, ridicules me for who i am and what i believe in and i don't get that from anime...it is an escape as well.
I haven't been to any nor have i had any interest b/c i thought the only cons going were comicon out in cali. but riho88riho changed that and i will be going to nyacon at lakeland comm coll in october. have you been to any?
