1: Tales of the Abyss (9/10) -- I can only see Tales of the Abyss getting better as it goes on. Best video game adaptation ever? 2: Kurozuka (8/10) -- Kurozaku, although very confusing, has the potential to be a great series. Samurai's in a post-apocalyptic world? Sign me up! 3: Michiko to Hatchin (8/10) - Michiko to Hatchin is the most stylish and colourful of all the new series, and it might turn out to be amazing depending on the plot. 4: Casshern Sins (7/10) - I like the setting and gloomy feel. What I don't like is the lack of story, or even a proper explanation about what's going on. I can't rate it higher until every episode stops being about Casshern simply destroying robots. 5: Chaos Head (5/10) - Weird, dull and a waste of time. I can't be bothered to watch it, not even when taking into consideration the fact that it only lasts 12 episodes. There are far better fish in the 2008 winter anime sea. |

Based on what I've seen thus far, and only thus far Chaos;Head: 7/10 (less horror, more otaku delusions) Clannad After Story: 8/10 (keep it up) Kuroshitsuji: 8/10 (SUB MORE NAO!) Michiko to Hatchin: 8/10 (really can't wait for this to take off) Nodame Cantabile Pari-hen: 9/10 (nearly perfect 2 eps in) Yozakura Quartet: 7/10 (Good cast, now how about a plot :P) |

The ones I'm watching, and what I've seen so far: Casshern Sins 7 - the setting, premise, art and even characters are good. All it needs is a good storyline to develop. ChäoS;HEAd 6 - Interesting, I expect it to deliver. ef - a tale of melodies 8 - Ga-Rei -Zero- 6 - Most aspects of this show are very silly but the first two episodes had fairly good action sequences, plus it has good production values. Kuroshitsuji 7 - does most things right but I haven't seen enough to give a good judgement. Kurozuka 8 - It's (very) good at everything really, but the storytelling might not be consistent enough to turn it into something really outstanding. Michiko to Hatchin 9 - Endless fun, good characters, art, music... Mouryou no Hako 9 - This series is absolute genius so far. Shikabane Hime: Aka 6 - Decent entertainment. Tytania 6 - Not bad so far but this kind of shows take a while to develop. |

Hakushaku to Yosei ( 8/10 ) - I watch this because of the seiyuu. Midorikawa Hikaru and Mizuki Nana did a great job as usual. Furthermore, the protagonist, Edgar looks just like Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club =D Junjo Romantica 2 ( 9/10 ) - I just can't help but to watch this after I finished the 1st season and longing for more. As usual, this anime is so fun and so nice that makes me laugh everytime I watch it >.< Kuroshitsuji ( 9/10 ) - My friend is crazy about this. She just won't stop talking about it eveyrtime we chat LOL But after I watched it, I found a reason why she is so crazy about it. Watch it for the laughter and more hehe Kurozuka ( 6/10 ) - Seiyuu Miyano Mamoru ( who played the main character ) highly recommended this series. I know it will be more and more interesting but I hope they will speed up the progress Muoryou no Hako ( 6/10 ) - Erm.. Till now, it's still full of mysteries yet to be solved, and, oh well, I don't deny I'm actually confused with the story LOL Skip Beat! ( 7/10 ) - Watch this for a laugh Haha Tales of the AByss ( 9/10 ) - I played the game on PS2 before, that's why when this series was adapted into an anime, I can't help but shrieked as loud as I can. Tales series is always my favourite games. The anime is well made and I am hoping more and more in the future =D Now where is the anime of Tales of Destiny!!!!! Toradora! ( 7/10 ) - Cute, funny and Shana-like. That's what I can say. Vampire Knight Guilty ( 9/10 ) - I would like to see a perfect ending in Vampire Knight so I can't stop myself from watching the second season. I got a feeling that the 2nd season will be better than the 1st one =p |

Michiko to Hatchin - 9/10; so far my best out of this season. :] I hope it doesn't disappoint, but seeing how it is by Manglobe, my guts tell me it won't. :D Music, art, characters are great in the first ep. Skip Beat! - 7.5/10; honestly, wasn't as good as I expected. Really liked the manga and idk why something about this bugs me, but I had good laughs while watching. Chaos;Head - 8/10; well, definitely not what I expected for some reason o_O Nonetheless, pretty good so far. VK Guilty - 8/10; good start. I loved the first series so I'm excited on how this will turn out. Honestly, the first episode didn't catch my attention as much as I thought it would but the 2nd episode got better. |

rating already? Right now there are only a few that I could rate. Rosario + Vampire Capu2 ~ [7/10] - So far, as a sequal, it has proved to be any better or worse. I'm half expecting it to get worse. Kurogane no Linebarrels ~ [5/10] - Even I think this is cliche and I don't usually care about that. Plus the main character is really annoying. Hakushaku to Yousei ~ [7/10] - There's something missing...I just don't know what it is. unrated: Casshern Sins, ef ~ a tale of melodies, Kuroshitsuji, Kurozuka, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S2, To Aru Majutsu no Index. I might edit my post later and update/rate the rest. |

Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka (8/10) - The anticipation of "perhaps" the most well-known seiryuu working in an anime is so high, that it really paid off for my rating of this one. (I wonder are they trying to copy Clannad version of the lazy dude + 5 girls??) Clannad ~After Story~ (9/10) - The jokes are far much more than in season 1, twist and sadness in coming episodes, Moe-ness of characters...Clannad After Story rocks! Chaos;HEAd (9/10) - I like how the characters is and the plot seems interesting. Ef~ A Tale of Melodies (9/10) - Need I say more? (It's the sequel of memories and the finalist for the best opening theme) Hyakko (9/10) - Aya Hirano FTW!Throwing stone to the window FTW! Kuroshitsuji (8/10) - The Opening theme already pumps you up for the episodes of The Phantom of Phantomhive. A "geass" kid and the butler who can do anything, seems an interesting anime for me. Kurogane no Linebarrels (2/10) - Don't even bother watching this. What's with the black lines drawn under the characters eyes and the "low-cost production"?? The story is totally predictable and unoriginal. Gonzo...are you the real Gonzo we used to see? Ga-rei -Zero- (8/10) - Action-packed 1st epsiode and with some flashback of the character's past + bakemono! = Decent looking anime. Rosario + Vampire Capu2 (5/10) - For neutral anime viewers, if you read the manga and the 1st season...try not to watch the 2nd season. It's absolutely not loyal to its manga and the same old "Tsukune....Moka-san....Tsukune....Moka-san.." (<- I'm going to die soon...)Hare Hare Yukai anyone?? Shikabane-Hime : Aka (7/10) - Already it's licensed and season 2 announced, I doubt this anime won't improve. I don't like the fact that how can a person revived after dying (just because of strong will?). Still, I like the story, fights, "coprses" and horror? To Aru Majutsu no Index (8/10) - Index is cute and lovely, "Black Sheep" guy is misfortune, actions are good, J.C. Staff never dissapoint, opening theme is splendid, what else? Toradora! (9/10) - Need I say more also again!? The popularity of MAL members watching even exceeds the Clannad members...A little dissapointing was J.C. Staff didn't include most part of the comedy stuffs in the manga to the anime. Tales of the Abyss (8/10) - Adaption from the game I used to hear. Need to remember quite a lot of terms (like the kingdom and worlds), but the story is good and Sunrise....well? Tytania (8/10) - It's not as worst as it's front poster in the anime database. Story looks good. Question marks on the fansubbers (no genuine good fansubbers) and characters (I mean is this for viewers age 60+?..the characters drawn seems...)Even the opening theme says it all...An opera-like theme...wow...1st time after my years of animes. Overall, it's good! Vampire Knight Guilty (8/10) - Yuki is still Kaname and Zero-ing. Drinking bloods still there...now...the vampire club are hunting Zero but Kaname are telling them to back-off. Out of the topic, On/off is still bringing the house down with their opening theme!~. Kanon Wakeshima is still......lost.. Yozakura Quartet (8/10) - Hime rocks! Kawaii-nee!?...Okok..Back to serious stuffs. It's about keeping the peacefull-ness of the town and a human being working among the "triplet" fighting against those threaten the town. Square-Enix works...(Another Nabari no Ou?) Autumn 2008 FTW! |

1. Casshern Sins (9/10) This series has everything going for it! Eye-popping animation, fitting music, stylish action, great voice actors, brillaint dialogue, original characters, and so far, the story is cleverly told. I love the whole atmosphere. I'm lovin' every minute of it! 2. Michiko to Hatchin (9/10) Although it's too early to judge, it's clearly living up to its expectations. ------ I am watching too many this season to rate any more. These two are clearly the best of the season if you enjoy the same genres that I do. |

1. Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka - 5/10 Pretty shitty. Dropped after two episodes. Generic as hell, lame humor, and sloppy animation. 2. Casshern Sins - 8/10 Very good. Depressing atmosphere and nice animation. 3. ChäoS;HEAd - 7/10 Good show. Mix of Welcome to the NHK and Higurashi. Confusing, but entertaining. 4. Clannad After Story - 9/10 Awesome as usual. Funny, great characters, awesome animation, good music, and just plain great. 5. Kannagi - 7/10 Good. Nagi is a good character and it can be quite funny at times. 6. Gundam 00 Second Season - 9/10 Fuck yeah! Intense and great action. Gundam 00 is awesome, simple as that. 7. Tales of the Abyss - 7/10 Not bad. It's entertaining and has nice animation, but it can feel a bit weird at times. 8. To Aru Majutsu no Index - 8/10 Good stuff, incredibly entertaining so far and I'm liking the characters. Animation and music are excellent. Reminds me of SnS. 9. Toradora - 6/10 It's not a bad show, but FUCK, I hate Taiga! I can't handle her bitchiness at all. If Taiga were not such a bitch and Louise clone I might give this an 8/10. She prevents me from liking it very much. |

Akane iro ni Somaru Saka 5.5/10 It's a bit cliche, but at least it is enjoyable, nothing else in it really stands out and the main lead is kinda annoying. It has it's funny moments Casshern Sins 6/10 Didn't impress me after the first episode and I didn't like it all, but has gradually made me at least a bit more interested. I think this one might grown on me though and actually get better Clannad After Story 9/10 As good as the prequel so far and I think it'll only get better. Chaos;Head 7.5 Alright the series is still building up, the animation is nice and it has some confusing moments and mindfucks I think this one can be really good, but it'll be a few more episode until. Ef~ A tale of Melodies 8.0/10 Left off where it was last season, new character introductions, not focusing on the one's from last season at least. As good as last season, and the elements that were what made a tale of memories is still present in melodies. Ga-rei Zero 8.0 episode 1, mindfuck, episod 2, mindfuck. Now I wonder what episode 3 is gonna be like since I haven't watched it. This one is one to look out for. Hakushaku to Yosei 4.5/10 Never really caught my attention with it's first episode, but I haven't given it up yet. Hyakko 5/10 Doesn't compare to other slice of life anime such as Minami-ke, Kyou no go no ni (Ova mostly) and Lucky Star. Tries hard, but something isn't right, nevertheless every episode has a few good moments. Kannagi 8.5/10 Animation is beautiful, Nagi is a very likeable character and the story is unique in it's own way. This one can probably just get better. Kemeko DX 6/10 A surprise for myself, I thought it would be worse, but it's nothing that's all that unique. Kuroshitsuji Unrated Watched first episode, not sure what to say about it. Kyou no Go no ni 8/10 It's good, I thought it would be a bit better, and more original content but I was wrong. It's still the good old kyou go no ni but I still prefered the older character designs. If you haven't watched the OVA, watch this. Kurozuka Unrated Need another episodeto judge. Linebarrels of Iron 4/10 Come on Gonzo I haven't the read the manga but have you fucked up again? Ok I still belive this can turn around after 2 bad episodes, it's not that it's really that bad but the main lead is one of the most annoying characters I've seen in an anime. I just wanna punch him so badly, maybe just maybe he'll change his retarded attitude soon. Michiko to Hatchin Unrated Outstanding animation, but I didn't like it. Mouryou no Hako 9/10 This is the one I think can be perhaps the best show of fall if it's done correctly. First of all the animation is top notch the characters actually look good for being done by CLAMP. The dialogue between the characters is intense and makes you wonder what's this about, what's happening. As well as it has a soundtrack that sounds very good already. Once the horror parts kick in it might just be even better. Rosario + Vampire Capu 2 4/10 Actually I really like this :P the fanservice but I just can't rate it higher because I know how pale it is compared to the manga. Shikabane Hime Aka 6/10 Slightly disappointing, thought I'd be better. I still think it can take a step up as the episodes keep coming. Tales of the Abyss 8.5/10 Best game to anime adaption I've seen as of yet, nuff said. To Aru Majutsu no Index 8.5/10 Also one of Falls best show of the season which I in all honesty didn't expect before watching first episode. It'll get better I'm sure but it's already good and the fight in 2nd episode already showed what we can expect from it further. Confident main character that isn't retarded, charming Index. Just hope the quality stays this way and the original story. Toradora 8/10 Pretty good, I like the characters but the characters looks a bit goofy. Yozakura Quartet 6.5/10 it's an alright show, I had expected more but it has strong points such as the music. It's an enjoyable anime but it's not up there with the great ones |

Bihada Ichizoku - Umm, what to say... xD It seems pretty funny by the first ep, but the subbers don't seem to be very serious... Also uncertain if it will keep this level for 12 eps. Parody gets old quickly. 7/10 Kuroshitsuji - Nice setting, nice characters, nice music... I don't like the main character very much though. The story is most probably going to get really good! xD 8/10 Mouryou no Hako - Wow, I really liked this... Beautifully drawn, creepy horror elements, cute shoujo-ai. I'm looking forward to more eps of this! 8/10 Tytania - At first I thought this was some kind of joke. Opera opening? Old guys as the main characters? xD Well, it got better later in the second ep, but still not convincing. :/ 6/10 |

After having just seen ep 2 of Michiko to Hatchin, I'd give it a 9/10 So far it's had amazing art, great music, and the story seems to be developing really well. Aside from that, Toradora is at about 9/10 atm (i've only seen first 2 eps so far). I reckon it'll be good. Oh and of course there's Nodame Paris Chapter, which is a 10/10. I'm loving it more than the prequel. |

Akane iro ni Somaru Saka, 7/10- at first it wasn't too interesting, but the characters seems to be developing. ChäoS;HEAd, 7/10 - interesting plot but the retarded main character is a show killer. Even though the plot might not be possible unless he is the way he is, but it's hard for me to take someone like him. Clannad afterstory, 5/10 - slow start, the first few eps does pretty much nothing. Kannagi, 9/10 - Nagi is funny and full of personality. While the goddess living with loser is not so new, how Nagi gets power is pretty new to me. Kemeko DX, 8/10 - bad graphics with major over used plot of ailen girl = not too interesting. But somehow, it could make me laugh and keep on watching Rosario + Vampire Capu 2, 1/10 - As a big fan of the manga, the anime was a total let down. Even though the first season was bad, it did include a little story. So far of 2nd season, 0% story, 100% fanservice , and 80% of the fanservice was cencered by a crazy bat... Only reason I kept on watching is b/c I am such a big fan of the manga and Moka.. Toradora 9.5/10 - the most interesting anime I have seen this season. Other than the soso animation, I really can't complain about this one so far. The lead characters all have an unique personality and the story is pretty original for a school/romance gerne. |

On the moment it is: Clannad After Story 9/10 ; Loved Clannad and I hope it will continue to get better. Ef a tale of melodies 9/10; Sometimes a bit complex but still beautiful to watch Kuroshitsuji 9/10; Comedy, action, supernatural, a good mix. Yozakura Quartet 8/10; Didn't want to begin this at first due to some reviews on forums that said it was horrible.. But I tried, got hooked and can't wait for each new episode. Toradora 8/10; At first I found it boring, but as the story went on, I began to love it. Go Taiga! Nodame cantabile Paris 8/10; Seen the Live actions, the specials, and the first season. And once again it is a nice anime, with good music (though I don't really like the opening song) Skip Beat between a 7 and an 8/10; not sure what to think of it yet. At some times it gets annoying, and other times I cheer for her. Kyo no Go ni (TV) between a 7 and an 8/10 ; Loved the OVA, and although the first episodes where mostly Ova material in new clothes, I will keep on watching. To Aru Majutsu no Index 7/10; The beginning was great, but slowly it gets a bit boring. Akane-iro ni somaru saka 7/10; Well not much to say about this one, it is a nice anime, with good comedy and romance, but I will see how it goes. Kannagi 7/10; nothing to say, but I hope it will just keeps going to way it goes now. R + V Capu 2 7/10; Season 1 was fun, season 2 is fun, but gets a bit boring, not much of a story in it. Mouryo No Hako 7/10; Not sure if I am going to continue this. It is quite a confusing anime, each episode that pass by I keep getting more confused.. Junjou Romantica 2 7/10; Only 3 episodes out, but so far I like it. Hyakko 6/10; Good comedy, but sometimes things just go to far, mostly things done by Torako.. Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae between a 5 to 6/10; 2 seasons, 2 very good seasons. I had hoped it would have finished, but I went to see this season, and so far I am pretty disappointed. Macademi Wasshoi no rating for now seeing there are only 2 eps subbed. Shugo Chara Doki, still need to watch the rest that is subbed, so until I watch some no rating. Same goes with Switch OVA, Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and to come Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart But well I will see how everything goes. And in the end might even change some ratings. |

Kannagi - 8-9 The bad thing is that Jin has slowly got a tad bit more generic, but he's still more bearable than most other male leads in the same genre. Clannad ~after story~ - 9 I really can't say much bad things about this. It's straining to even try. Akane-iro no Somaru Saka - 3-4 Geh. I only watch this for Nago-nago by now. Nothing else is even average. I suspect it'll dive even deeper down in points before it's over. Hyakko - 8 It feels as if I'm the only one who digs this. It has a few awkward, suspension-of-disbelief-breaking moments, though. To Aru Majutsu no Index - 7 Started out great, went a bit generic. The cast is still good enough to forgive the spiralling-down. ToraDora! - 8-9 Minorin. Pudding. Bucket. Questions? |

CLANNAD ~After Story~ (10/10) - No doubt the best of the season. I simply adore the series, and I write episode reviews for it as well. Chaos;HEAd (9/10) - 2nd place after CLANNAD ~After Story~. Great anime with so many things that I want to know. The male lead is kind of..well..not likable. ef ~A Tale of Melodies~ (9/10) - Unexpectedly good, even better than the first one. This series sure is something, I love it... Kannagi (8/10) - Great so far. The comedy of the season, along with ToraDora! And Nagi FTW! Kurozuka (8/10) - The animation is top-notch, that's for sure. I'm liking it so far. Nodame Cantabile Paris Chapter (8/10) - Pretty good and I'm interested in music, especially piano music as well. Tales of The Abyss (7/10) - For some reason, it's a little bit boring.. Maybe it's because I have played the game.. ToraDora! (8/10) - Great. Every character has something to like. And Taiga is the ultimate tsundere. ^_^ Vampire Knight Guilty (7/10) - Ok I guess...I watched the 1st season, might as well watch this one. I'm picky about my anime watching, so I dropped a few this season. |

September QUIZ Magic Academy = 6/10 (The anime begins off with a class ex-Shinigami Rukia and a fiery red dragon which results in Ruquia' victory, transforming the monster into a cute and adorable little pet dragon. The rest of the anime features bald-eagle sensei acting cool and a military male student who has the appearance of an old geezer. Unfortunately, I fell asleep just before the start of the final battle and woke up a few hours later to see the disappointing end..) Lucky Star OVA = haven't watched yet (A rather long ova featuring Hirano Aya and Minorin from "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu" themed as comedy.) Hakushaku to Yousei = 6/10 (The anime takes place in 19th century England. At first thought, the blond man is a terrible scientist, but it later turns out that he is actually the true descendent of the "Earl of the Blue Knight". Even so, Edgar seems rather suspicious, but I guess Lydia the fairy doctor is better off on an adventure with him than the bunch of suspicious guys who are armed.) October Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka = 8/10 (An anime based on a visual novel featuring lead female character voiced by Kugimiya Rie. The anime itself seems to be a romantic comedy with some twists. Occasionally, it features some flashbacks of Genokiller and Minato's parents during their wild journey in the amazons, as well as underwater battles with sea monsters. Pretty bizarre to some degree, but that only makes it more interesting...) Shikabane Hime: Aka = 8/10 (When I first watched the trailer, I thought this anime will feature awful animation and character designs, but it seems the trailer was giving a wrong impression. The female lead seems to be an undead unit with fighting styles that greatly resemble Dante from "Devil May Cry". The male protagonist on the other hand is rather odd. Considering that he just entered high school, why would he be interested in the idea of adventuring through the streets after midnight and hang out with the undead, such as zombies, demons, and supernatural occurrences instead of having a snack party with his 2 male and 1 female friends at his new apartment. Very strange!) Toradora! = 9/10 (Another romantic comedy by female lead Kugimiya Rie. The palmtop tiger seems to be a bad-mannered and mean girl, yet it seems that it is and isn't the case. On the contrary, this is another character Kugi voices that seems to share a similar personality than her previous roles, which is bad-mannered and mean, yet cute and adorable. Sounds odd, but it really isn't. It gets more interesting when Taiga takes on the model Ami, who shares the same name as Sailor Mercury. On the other hand, there is Minorin who seems to be very cheerful all the time. A trivia fact is that both Kugimiya Rie (Taiga) and Horie Yui (Minorin) are actually voicing characters Rise and Chie respectively in a popular ps2 game known as "Persona 4".) Hyakko = 7/10 (This anime seems to be one of the non-romance slice of life anime featuring 4 female students who tend to get lost while going from one class to another at a high school that is the size of like an island. To begin with, it is actually unrealistic for a high school to be larger than the biggest university campus, but nonetheless this makes it all so better, if not funny. The seiyuu cast includes Hirano Aya[Suzumiya Haruhi] and Orikasa Fumiko [Druaga no To, Bleach] and the character designs itself are pretty good.) Rosario to Vampire Capu2 = 8/10 (At first thought, this is just another typical ecchi anime, but this doesn't seem to be the case. It features awesome opening and ending themes by Mizuki Nana, who also voices the female lead Akayashi Moka, as well as Inner Moka. On top of that, the other female characters are also sing throughout the anime, making it appear like the non-mecha Macross anime. Also to note, Kugimiya Rie returns once again to voice one of the 5 main female characters, Shirayuki Mizore. This time around, her voice sounds a lot more better and is no longer high-pitched.) Kuro Shitsuji = 5/10 (A rather disappointing first episode.. The butler is voiced by Fukuyama Jun, the same guy who voiced Lelouch Lamperouge of "Code Geass", as well as many other good anime. It appears that he is serving a 12-year old genius as a servant this time around. The kid appears to have made a contract with a crow demon or something like that, making him wear an eye-patch that resembles the leader of Astral in "Rental Magica" and the trivia fact is that Fukuyama Jun had previous voiced the leader of Astral, making this anime all that interesting. For some strange reason, all the characters with the single red eye is voiced by Fukuyama Jun.) Clannad After Story = 10/10 (After Story is an unlockable epilogue of the "Clannad" visual novel, but in this case.. The anime isn't following the game or is it? Episode 6 of After Story is similar to Episode 6 of original Clannad in terms of idea.) Tales of the Abyss = 9/10 (An anime adaption of the ps2 game that has the same name. It appears that the seiyuu cast of the game is the same for the anime as well. On a quick note, the lead female Tear is voiced by the seiyuu Yukana who also voiced C.C. in "Code Geass", while the annoying kid that has an ugly-looking stuffed lion is voiced by Momoi Haruko, the same seiyuu who voiced Seto San in the best romantic comedy "Seto no Hanayome".) Yozakura Quartet = 9/10 (An anime featuring yokai and magic. It all takes place in a town made for the yokai and for some strange reasons, the food the yokai eats is rather interesting.) Kannagi = 10/10 (One of the best anime of the season. The idea of eatting sauce on bread vs smashed umaibo on rice are both surprisingly odd.) Kurogane no Linebarrels = 7/10 (I don't like the male protagonist at all. In fact, I think the other factors should sign a cease-fire, then team up with justice guy all-out, then seize his mecha. The anime would had been much better if it focused on the team members of Juda taking on both the troublemakers and justice-crazed Kouichi. The 14-year old Kouichi's idea of heroism and justice is on par with the modern day military men.) Kidou Senshi Gundam00 Second Season = 8/10 (For some reason, the relationship between Setsuna F. Seiei and Princess Marina Ismail is like that of Heero Yuy and Princess Relena Peacecraft in the predecessor anime, "Gundam Wing". The guy fights to end wars and the girl wants a world filled with pacifism. However, Setsuna's Gundam is a melee-type with 7 swords, while Heero's Gundam is a long-ranged type with 2 over-powered beam rifles.) To Aru Majutsu no Index = 6/10 (A city where espers meet the mages. The idea sounds amazingly cool, but the anime itself is rather different. The lead female is like an elementary school kid, while the male protagonist's female teacher also appears as an elementary school kid. It got worse when she wore a pink bunny outfit. Very bizarre!) Skip Beat! = 6/10 (The first episode is plain boring, but I hope the anime picks up after the second episode. It features a rather klutz female lead that seems to got very upset over her childhood male friend that became a successful rock star who also works part-time at Mos-Burger opened the Pandora's Box as a means of seeking vengeance of getting fooled by the guy. Its one of those shoujo anime.) Ga-Rei: Zero = 9/10 (A supernatural horror anime that has a disappointing start. My favorite Team 4 gets totally annihilated by an ex-member of a different division that goes by the name Yomi. It started off somewhat cool with a male twin-gunner and a female motorcycle driver with amazing skills, but they didn't stand a chance against Yomi. The amazing Team 4 dies under 2 minutes. The anime actually starts on episode 4 featuring shoujo-ai between Yomi and the manga female protagonist Kagura.) Ef - A Tale of Melodies = 6/10 (The animation is very good and the character designs are just as good.) Vampire Knight Guilty = 8/10 (A continuation of first season where it left off.. The character designs are top-notch, its possibly another masterpiece by CLAMP.) Kurozuka = 5/10 (Another view that deviates from original historical context. It features the heroic Yoshitsune and Benkei as something else.. Yoshitsune after losing to undead samurai and necromancers, he ends up wounded and is escorted by his loyal monk friend Benkei to a nearby house in some mountain region. It turns out that the lady is an immortal vampire and after some events, Yoshitsune walks on the path as a powerful vampire, while Benkei turns evil against Yoshitsune over the vampira. Interesting?) Tytania = 6/10 (This reminds me of "Code Geass R2" and it goes like this: ALL HAIL TYTANIA!!!) November Seto no Hanayome OVA = 8/10 (Nagasumi takes Seto San out on a date to the movies, but ended up watching a movie of chivalry, "Die Hard 4" instead of something romantic to his disappointment. On top of that, it turned out disasterous and he ended up turning into Super Saiyan Broly from "Dragonball Z". Maki the Hitman is rather useless in this ova.) |

Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka 4.5/10 Cliché, lame and generic. I'm watching this just because of the voice actors. Chaos;Head 8.5/10 Confusing and entertaining. Plot is intresting and original. Hope it'll continue to get even better. Clannad ~After Story~ 10/10 Awsome, just like the first season. Comedy is great, and so is the animation and music. I can't say anything bad about this one. ef - a tale of melodies 9/10 As good as the prequel so far, maybe even better. Animation is amazing, and so is the music. Ga-Rei -Zero- 8/10 The first episodes were just plain mindfuck. I must say, I was a bit dissapointed. But when the story actually started in about episode 4, it got quite intresting. We'll see what happens next. Hyakko 8/10 A good slice of life anime with awsome characters. The comedy is mostly 'hit-or-miss', but I've had many good laughs. Junjou Romatica 2 9/10 Had to watch it, because the prequel was so good. And so is this. It's cute and funny, and after every episode you just want more. This anime never fails to make me laugh. Kannagi 9/10 Unexpectedly good. I waited some cliché ecchi & harem anime. Fortunately I was wrong. The animation is really good, it is actually funny, and the story isn't cliché like I expected. Some of the characters are just brilliant [Nagi & Akiba FTW. 8D], but the only bad thing is that Jin is getting a bit generic. Kuroshitsuji 10/10 I loved the manga, and I was really exited when I heard this would get an anime adoptation. The setting is intresting, music and animation are beautiful, and of course characters just awsome. Plain great. Kyou no Go no Ni TV 7/10 I was a bit dissapointed, I expected it to be better. There wasn't so much new content, most of it were taken from the OVAs. It would probably be better if I hadn't watched the OVAs, but well, it's still pretty good. Mouryou no Hako Unrated I can't say much about this yet, but it seems really intresting. Beautiful character desing [of course, it is CLAMP], horror and mystery elements... Looking foward to more. Shikabane Hime: Aka 8/10 A good horror anime, nothing much more to say about this. Shugo Chara!! Doki Unrated Continues where the first season left off. Prequel was really good, one of the few mahou shoujo animes i actually like. I hope this will be as good. To Aru Majutsu no index 9.5/10 Really good, even better than I expected. I like the animation and music [reminds me of SnS], JC Staff does a great job, again. Toradora! 9.5/10 One of the season's best comedy shows. JC Staff is great, as always. And Minori. Do I need to say more? Vampire Knight Guilty Unrated I have to catch up with this. I hope this will be better than the prequel, and that the animation will improve. Yozakura Quartet 8.5/10 Enjoyable and good. Nothing so special, but looking foward to see more. |

Not going to rate since the ratings probably won't stick, but I will rank them for the moment I guess. 1. Michiko to Hatchin - It's funny, looks good, is fun to watch, and has a superior soundtrack. 2. Clannad ~After Story~ - Episode for episode I'm actually liking this more than the first season at the moment. 3. One Outs - Would be higher if it wasn't for the weak start, but other than that it's probably the show I'm most excited to see a new release of. 4. Mouryou no Hako - I really want to like this more than I do. It's just missing...something... 5. Tytania - It's not LoGH, but it's an enjoyable space comedy...err opera. 6. Nodame Cantabile Paris-hen - Yeah it's fun...but it's also pretty pointless since it hasn't really accomplished anything the first season hadn't already. 7. Tales of the Abyss - lawl vg adaptation 8. Skip Beat! - One episode I'll love it, the next I'll be counting the seconds until it's over. Very hit-or-miss. 9. Kurozuka - My cool action scenes have been cut back and they're focusing too much on the dumb plot which was garbage from the start. Stuff I've already dropped: Casshern Sins - Oh great, robot angst...ugh... Kemeko DX - It was fun for an episode or two amongst all of the srs business shows. Chaos Head - Mediocre visual novel adaptation. Ga-Rei Zero - So forgettable I nearly forgot to put it on this list. To Aru Majutsu no Index - This seemed amusing...then stopped being that way in a hurry. Kuroshitsuji - There isn't much I can say good or bad about it...it's just kind of there. Shikabane Hime - Not even Gainax involvement can make a series this worthless any good. Kurogane no Linebarrel - If this isn't one of the worst shows this year...well then I'm glad I've avoided anything worse than this. |

Michiko to Hatchin 8/10 - Incredibly cozy and fun to watch. Best of season I'd say. To Aru Majutsu no Index 7/10 Aknane-iro ni somaru saka 7/10 - Awesome voice actors as well pretty high enjoyability (Is that a word?), but it's really nothing new. Toradora 7/10 - Has it's moments, but it's been done before, a lot. Mouryou no Hako 7/10 - Very nice art and rather interesting characters and it is a a bit confusing as far as I've watched. It has some nice potential and might become really good. Kurozuka - 7/10 - Pretty cool action scenes, the story not so much atm. ChaoS;HEAd 6/10 - Started out terrible, but it seemd to be getting better before I dropped it. I might give it a shot later. Shikabane hime aka - 5/10 - Rather boring, not really worth the time imo. Rosario + Vampire Capu 2, 5/10 - Amazing intro and I can't stress that enough, the anime itself kinda sucked, but sure it had it's moments. |
