| One of the best episodes so far, lol. Even without mysteries. I don't know why, it just had a really good feel to it, all of them working together :) So Chitanda is kind of going to seduce people... Well, even though she didn't really understand it, it's gonna be fun to watch :D |

| 5/5 The atmosphere makes this school festival the best ever presented in an anime, it is not just a trick to lengthen the stock, but a valuable, well-thought out to make the story rich slice of life and to continue to speak of the element main, ie the mystery. Technically, the bet is fabulous, and other nice thing to see so many new faces and well characterized in terms of the design and review already seen characters makes it even more exciting storytelling. The two girls club of pastry, then they were very nice. I laughed so much at that time. Beautiful well as cosplayers! * _ * |

| "Also, try to talk to people with opposite gender in a private room." Dat Irisu's "encouragement advice" to Eru. Irisu actually did that encouragement thing to Oreki (ex. giving expectations or compliment to him like "You're really a special person.") because she was trying to convince him to help them for their horrible film. Nice job, girl. So I was right: Oreki's trading with the customers was useful. The trading had the pattern (I even posted that to the ep. 13 discussion forum). Ibara is the star in this episode. I could see that each one of the members of the Classics Club has his/her own unique talents. Congrats for winning, guys! Although there were hindrances (like Ibara was late, they have few ingredients and few minutes left, and the unknown thief stole the ladle), they still won. Well, good episode! I'm very excited for the next episode... The investigation will start, and I'm hoping it will be Oreki's spotlight! |

| Good episode, the cooking competition was enjoyable to watch. Mayaka pulled it off really well and made it on time for the final round of the competition. Though thanks for the support of her friends when she didn't have enough ingredients. Nice to see Irisu again. |
| Nice episode! Now we'll be getting into the thefts ^_^ Irisu makes my blood boil, from the first moment she appeared I new I wasn't going to like her and everything she has done has just reinforced that. Why oh why does she have to taint Eru?! Oh Lordy please say it ain't so! Lol. But seriously, have known too many 'girls' like that and it only causes heartache... Le sigh |

| Mmm, it look like a new mystery have appeared! Someone seem to sabotate the festival. Woah, even the cold and heartless Irisu can't resist Chitanda soul piercing eyes xD Houtarou save the day! It's so random that this halloween club gave them flour. Do they carry flour casually everyday? :P Damn, that food contest was so stressing damnit :O But they won in the end, that will give them a lot of publicity and if they solve that mystery, they will become even more famous! :D |

| Yep, so this mysterious "thief" is definitely gonna be the case to solve! :P I wonder what Houtarou will do with it ... well, the instant he got the flour I knew that he'd (well, the team) use it in the cooking competition. Luckily Mayaka got there on time! Pretty fun and intense to watch Chitanda and Satoshi cook as well :3 Man, my high school never had awesome events like this ... although I gotta say must be pretty expensive to host stuff like this with four (!) separate cooking spaces and everything :P Among other things, Irisu's advice ... hehe, she definitely knows how to get things done XD Manga drawing competitions and more cosplay ... awesome! Though I thought more would be coming of Mayaka and the senpai's discussion about that manga. Oh well, seems like the senpai definitely knows something about it ... |
| It is brilliant. Chitanda learns how to communicate, Oreki lazes away, Ibara was inspired with more love to Fuku-chan and director did the masterpiece — the Tarantino-style scene about The Cooking Contest: with highest possible intense and without dialogues. And in the end there is final and graceful introduction of the main story. 14th episode is the essence of ‘Hyouka’. |

| Today's ep is brought to you by Food Wars! EP 14. Plot: Today is the cooking competition and its a nail biter. Satoshi leads the charge. Chitanda brings her A-game but nearly causes a loss from using all of the ingredients. But the last minute save from Oreki and Mayaka lands the classic club the victory. However it ends with the cliffhanger of another theft. The thieves of the Kanya festival have taken the stage. Character:Mayaka and Chitanda get high marks. Mayaka does have some confidence issues but seeing her come through for her friends and even drag on herself for a percieved problem does give her a bit more character. She was cute when she smiled at Satoshi's smile. Chitanda was adorable. And she helped bring Irisu back for some advice on how to get people to do things for her. Oh Chitanda, you don't need that. You've already got Oreki wrapped up. And Irisu...that was hot. Thumbs up for Oreki making the small but big contributions. ENergy conservationism! Animation/sound: Pretty good movement all around. The cooking was nice to look at and made me hungry. 4/5. It was a fun little thing but that cliffhanger brings things higher, |
