| An alright episode I guess. Although I kind of wish they hadn't teased us with 20 seconds of thinking we would finally see Luffy vs Jimbe. Also, silly fishmen, just draw yourself an anti-sea bear circle and you'll be fine! (1000 internetz to whoever gets that refrence) |

| Yup,they're doing what they did during the flashback.Inserting the Strawhats in when they shouldn't be.In the manga,we readers went 4 weeks,FOUR MOTHERF-ING WEEKS,WITHOUT the Starwhats or any update on the situation.And by the time we saw them again,it was *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* & what an epic *beep* it was. Eh,this episode was good.Hody abusing the drugs & somehow going super fishman.Yeah,this is a good way to make drugs look bad.Good thing Oda insert *beeeeeeeep* as a form of negative side effect. |

| is it just me, or do the episodes leading up to the fights resemble the event horizon of a black hole? In that it takes longer and longer for the anything to happen from the POV of the viewer? ... of course, the analogy kind of breaks down because, to the viewer, the object will eventually appear to stop completely, never quite passing the EH. Hopefully that never happens here. >>; I DO actually want the fights to happen... Anyway, it just seems the closer we get to the actual main event, the less happens in any individual episode... until, BOOM! ^^; It was an okay episode I guess. We got to preview the abilities of the four shark guys. But nothing really happened. |

| Yup, drugs will turn you into Sephiroth...ok that was a bit far fetched. But yeaaa...slow episode. Only thing we resolved in this episode was that the main bad guys are heading for the plaza now. And Hordy is uber-strong now. Next episode looks even worse by looking at the preview: "We must save the king" Hordy: "Pwned!" King: "Oh no! My subjects!" Army: "We must press on!" end episode with a hint of a fight between Luffy and Jimbei. At'least bring in the funny bits with the strawhats. |

Silly Squidward, why didn't you just stand in the circle? I have to admit that not much was really accomplished in this episode. The pace of this arc is killing me. |

| I hope I wasn't the only 1 to have a breakdown when I thought this episode was not being released. I freaking freaked out think that Oda was taking way longer than he should fo rthis arc. :D Slow arcs like this make me glad I read the manga. Anyway guys, No big deal. It gets 2x better and progressive in 1-3 episodes. This is perhaps 1 of the most terrible arcs but the middle-end is quite enjoyable. Its been so long. Jeez, and were still not in the end world. |

| I just have one wish. That the queen's killer was Hordy, and when the king realizes that, he get furious and beat that drug addict bastard really bad. I hope that's going to happen, but I'm sure it'll be Luffy who will defeat him. |

| They're probably stretching out this arc as much as possible in order to animate the next arc properly. It hasn't finished in the manga yet and it's next to impossible to put filler episodes between this and the next arc. Everyone who reads the manga probably knows what I'm talking about. (Oh yeah, the episode was fine.) |

| I liked this episode even with the pacing. The problem with the One Piece time skip so far is there isn't often you get a sense of danger, the only time before this ep being when they were all drowning at the arrival of fishman island. The Hody scene was great in the soundtrack and the animation and gave out a good feel that he was in grave danger. In the end he went into overdrive mode which had a nice bit of mystery to it. |

| Zoidberg is the only new fishman dude I like. So, really boring episode. It's slow episodes like this, with boring or almost no developments, that make me dislike the anime. /sigh Oh well. |

| Seems like the power he's obtained through this drug is rival to whitebeards. However, since he did not acquire it naturally I can only imagine that this level of increase will result in death when the drugs finish working. |
