A bit too much drama, although I'm glad they explained Kouta's 'situation', it was handled too convenient. Still, there was so much yuri goodness, it was all worth the wait. Heehee. Think this can compete with 'all time yuri favorite' Shoujo Sect? |
| About the show: After two years, just when I had given up hope, episode 2 is finally released. Fortunately I didn't watch the episode 2 trailer, was apparently packed with spoilers. The show went in a different direction than I was expecting it to, but still pretty good and packed with yuri. I'm giving it 4/5 based solely on enjoyment factor. I'd say it is good, but I can't compare it to other yuri shows, since I don't usually watch any. It's disappointing that they made us wait more than 2 years for it though. I think they should have made it longer and could have probably gone for 4 episodes, but since it took so long to get this episode out, the wait would be disastrous. They managed to conclude it quite well in a way that doesn't allow for future development. I can't really decide where this fits in: It doesn't have a plot worthy of a normal romance story or nudity worthy of porn. It's really nothing more than a story about two girls that fall in love, fool around, and go to a place where they can fool around for all eternity. Video = 4/10 - You can't expect much from 480p, but this one scales exceptionally badly to my HD display. I recommend waiting for a better encode. Audio = 6/10 - The voices and sound effects were good, but the music is definitely lacking. Although it's not exceptionally bad, it doesn't set the mood of the scene properly. Plot = 5/10 - Well, There is NO development. It's just watered down yuri with a bit of drama and a supernatural aspect thrown in. Enjoyment = 8/10 - Despite all the flaws listed above, I still strangely enjoyed this show. With the amount of time that they had, they could have definitely have done much better on all of the above aspects. This episode doesn't add value to the show, the main reason to be happy is that you can now watch past the epic cliffhanger that episode 1 ended on. I do admire how they achieved a "happy ending" with just one episode though. I'll stop here since I don't want to turn this into a full review. "It's ok if we end up on a distant planet with no life on it, so long as I'm with you" - message conveyed. Aya was a tad annoying, but everything ends up making sense in the end. Kiiko was a fairly decent character for a 2 episode OVA series. Even though it just made you go "Why? Just....why? ._." at times. Well, 8/10. |

| Well, after the ending of the last episode I didn't really expect much from this trainwreck, but I guess it served its purpose. The train scene was great and the girls ended up together. 3/5. |
| This was a wait of 2 years for it to be completed and i have to say it was worth it. I really liked this ending at was nice and emotional and they formed a nice bond together. The beginning af this episode was a bit strange with the abduction like capturing of Kiiko and Aya them forcing herself on her. Considering this was a one man project it's very impressive how everything came together and i liked the expressions of the characters. The ending was a bit unexpected but nicely done. |

| So.. not only is she a telekinesis, she's a fuckin teleporting Yandere too! I seriously had a WTF moment when she was on the plane all of a sudden. But I kinda laughed a little during that train scene, I was seriously waiting for someone to stare at them. |
| I dunno, I just... First of all, after 2 years I have no bloody idea what that experiment was even about. Second of all, the PE room scene was freaking delicious. Well, not so much, cause they hardly showed a thing, but the idea itself is just yummy. Like something to put on a to do list. If you're still in high school, that is. As for the rest... Lol, that pervert brother. Best use of cancer ever. If he didn't almost mess up a lovely yuri couple, I'd say he's awesome. But this way he can rot in hell. The train scene was... I dunno... That must've been some kinda gay train or something. - "Hey let's just start licking each other here in plain sight!" *nobody cares* Gay train. Harcore gay train. And then the ending... I know the anime had a supernatural element from the start, but this was just a totally random deus ex machina. But whatever. They get off the plane, into the ocean, and... - "Oh my god we're on a different freaking planet!" - "Yeah let's have more sex!" Gotta love those two. And in retrospect, this way they just might up being together forever. Cause you know, it could be a completely uninhabited planet with just the two of them on it. Oh well~ |

| Wow! The wait was so worth it! Things I may have forgotten from episode 1 *What is the experiment the white/grey hair girls talks of when she said it's finish and she had to go away? Maybe the sub I watched just worded the subs strangely and didn't meant anything like I'm thinking. Very passionate anime with low budget. You can really see this how the two characters end up in a distant and beautiful fantasy planet being together forever. I like the drama and young love. Only two things I didn't like was how they decided to be such exhibitionist during the train ride and the incest. |
| So I watched this anime for the Yuri and I got a whole load of supernatural stuff, incest, and weird sex scenes. I was totally okay with them having sex, but wtf. How is locking someone up for several days even normal? HOW IS THAT ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS? I DONT UNDERSTAND (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻) lol the train part made me laugh so hard. I was like "what am I watching..." Anyways, cool powers Ki-chan. I like the art. 7/10 |

| Well the ending was predictable but nice ,I mean I didn't expect that they are going to end up on a different planet but that whole "forever together" thing was expected but most of all I'm glad that that fu*ker died as soon I saw his faggot face in the first episode I knew he will somehow mess up my yuri anime. |

| Well I got boner for almost 40 minutes so it wasn't bad. And yuri rape and train scene was hot. And it's great comedy. I lol'd so hard at train scene. And then that plane. I'd give it 8/10 if Kawakami had shredded her in that plane but it didn't happen so only 6/10. |

| Upon finishing the series the only thought going through my mind was "What the actual... 'heck'?" I'm not really sure how to feel about what I just watched, as I'm having trouble placing the series both in genre and in the setting of the actual anime, but my inherent need to categorize doesn't take away from the fact that I enjoyed the hell out of it, especially since yuris these days are all about implied attraction and this one gets away from that. I want to give it a 10 and I want to give it a 1. Story wise I'm glad they cleared up the situation between Aya and her brother but I'm also very uncomfortable with how they tried to make that and even Aya's (i want to call it rape? but was it? It was unorthodox to say the least but i'm not positive because in the end consent was given) of Kii very lighthearted and gloss over how disturbing it was. Also throughout the episode, I couldn't shake the feeling that something about the main character, Kii i think her name is, was off. Almost as if she were dead or an imaginary friend or in a coma. I'm not sure why. Enjoyment wise, What a show. Couldn't turn away, and it was interesting to say the least. Extra points for yuri kisses |

But ONLY 2 people being together FOR ETERNITY--horrible. And they still feel good about it? Is it really worth it to give up everything and everyone else so that they can be together?! (Not to mention how they can survive on that planet, but since Kiiko says the future is good, we have to believe it.) Okay, so overall the only enjoyable point of this is the yuri part. But since this show is meant to show some drama... The drama is bad. It doesn't show a lot of 'proper' love development--more sex appeals than feelings toward each other, and that ending is a total failure. 4/10 for 'Flawed'. If interpreted as such, then it means the two have simply found some places where they can spend time together and that's it. So what's new? There is little difference between spending time on a desert island and spending time in an empty school, in this case. |
