Used to hate it. I don't anymore... except when I'm driving. It was like showering today on the highway and my window wipers could barely keep up with the rain, plus the sun was setting and it was really fucking bright. I would have been screwed without shades. SHIT WAS RIDICULOUS.

If I have to go somewhere and it's raining heavily, that's when I hate rain.

If I just wanna be lazy and idle, that's when I love rain.

I love just walking through the rain and it's nice to listen to when I'm inside. I'm not so much of a fan when it start kickin' in and it knocks out my satellite TV or the power.

I had a similar experience the past week. I was driving down the highway, on the very left lane where nice big puddles were being created. It may not seem like a long time, but I hit one point where there was about 15-20 seconds where all my windows were getting hammered with a ridiculous amount of water. I couldn't see a thing with the wipers going full blast, and I was surprised I didn't sway too much when it was all over. Not exactly my idea of fun.

I'm just waiting for the day when I start a hydroplane, now that's going to be an experience.

I generally like the rain as long as it is not a hard rain or I have a small umbrella with me.

Other than that the only negative aspects of rain for me are people who use those large umbrellas and try to walk in crowded places and flooding.

A street I walk across a few times a day flooded the other day. While it wasn't too bad, I was soaked past my ankles which made me upset.

I love rain as long as I'm not required to venture out into it. Unfortunately, I live in Bergen now, which is renowned for its frequent downpours.

I live in Britain. If there is one thing I'm used to, it's rain...and knife-wielding chavs. But mostly rain.

Chavs notwithstanding, one of the things I love about Britain is the near-constant rain. The only way it could be improved weather-wise would be for a tropical downpour to make its way to the streets of Bristol - drizzle just isn't enough!

Try telling that to all the people who got flooded recently!

Love the rain. Especially during the night. You wake up in the morning, and it's shinny yet still wet outside, or even still slightly raining.

I love the rain, aslong as I don't have to go anywhere in it. Then it's troublesome, especially when it's pouring and windy...

But otherwise I love it, and will occasionally just walk around outside with a huge umbrella for fun in the rain. It's the best sound to sleep to.

I think it's very calming to hear the rain falling in the background. I love how it feels when it pours on my skin.

I love rain. When I have an umbrella while walking to school, I only cover my backpack. Going on a motorcycle in the rain is fun too, but since it's really really hard not to slip in the rain on a motorcycle, I don't do it that often. Only when it starts raining before I get home. Generally speaking, I really don't like the rain, especially when it pisses down at BBQ time lol. Having said that, the only moment I ever love the rain is during a football match, and even then i only like a light shower...speeds up the ball and makes slide tackles all the better.

I like the rain when I'm inside, but it never rains in California. Well it does, but it's pretty rare compared to back home. I don't like walking in the rain especially if I'm wearing my backpack and there are a ton of books inside.

I like rain because it changes everything. Many times it's comforting hearing the rain fall and just sleeping in or watching movies. I miss it. I think I want to go back home just to see rain again .__.

I love the rain.

The quiet serenity of turning everything away, walking outside, and just listening to the endless pitter-patter of the raindrops, holding a cup of hot chocolate/coffee/whathaveyou... I do some of my best writing while it's raining, too. There's something about it that sparks a creative flow.

I also love going outside in the rain. I feel most at home when there's lots of water around. It's as though the rain is cleansing my soul. I always feel relaxed and at peace when I look up at the cloud-filled sky, the rain never ceasing. Whatever's bothering me just stops and goes away when I have the rain.

And if that weren't enough, there's that moment when it stops raining and the sun comes out. Everything seems so very beautiful and it reminds me that life is grand.

The rain is my best non-living friend.

I love the rain.

Oh yes. It's really fun to be at home while there's "Boom boom" going on outside because of the rain. I think that's the only time I actually like sleeping.
