I knew that there was the possibility that they might end it.... but I can't believe it, at least they decided to make it end on a good note... looking forward to their next work!...also it might be good that they are ending it like this, it could mean that they might do a full anime adaptation!

Wow, that is sudden. I assume it had been going towards a conclusion? I don't read the manga but will start watching season 2 of the anime soon. So can we assume that with season three the anime will be finished as well or doesn't it cover that much of the manga?

It's really hard to accept this. Well, I knew this was coming but still... It's a shock. This is a unique Manga in a good way. I learned a lot from Bakuman. I learned everything about being a Mangaka etc.

Oh well, It's been a great read. DeathNote and Bakuman, what more can I ask.. Hoping for their next Manga! Thanks authors! Bakuman will be remembered! Bye Bakuman I will miss you 10/10.

P.S: I still believe, somewhere deep in my heart, that Bakuman story is somewhat related to the authors life :D:D:D

I saw it coming, as it was hinted in context throughout this arc. It was a great read!!

Well, it's only logical it's ending, since all the sub-stories are pretty much resolved and the main story will be resolved this week. Great read and great last arc by the way.

Why is everyone being sad? The main storyline is just about to wrap up and all the subplots have been resolved. It's the best time to end it. I've been expecting to see this announcement on MAL for a couple of weeks now ^_^

Wow. That was sudden! So now, after reading Bakuman for years, I find myself trying to analyse WHY they stop the series so sudden. They wanted the RIGHT ending (without more input like Naruto etc) or not enough votes?? That can't happen given that they have an anime running, or...?!

Thankfully so. Don't get me wrong I really like Bakuman, in fact that's precisely the reason why I don't want to see it getting boring and over-stretched. Like it it ends as a great overall manga.

Well, this time comes sooner or later. Guess i should resume reading this now.

With last chapter (175) I had the feeling that it could end in next one, but with the rumors about ending in 2-6 weeks I thought it would last a liitle longer, seems that I wasn't mistaken. It was a great manga, thanks a lot to the authors ^^

Whoa... there go now 3 of my currently running faves in less than 3 months Negima! and Air Gear got sloppy but I will miss Bakuman it was nothing short of excellent.

... just don't take Airantou you'd leave me with only Fairy Tail

Huh. I remember starting this when there were only like 8 chapters out, and now it's ending after 20 volumes. Time sure flies, damn.

Well, time to start season 2. Season 1 was really enjoyable. I was waiting for it to end so I can give all the seasons a good score.

Will season 3 be the final or how many episodes do manga readers assume the anime can still produce?

I thought they would stretch it a bit more to create a romance story among Miho & Mashiro, well just like "Reversi" it's better to end it in A good fashion than stretching the story.

It's nothing surprising or sudden, just... will be missed. Very missed ;____;

Sad, but I'm happy for Bakuman too.
