| I'm not sure how I felt while watching it.. the anime just feels too surreal for me.. It's like I'm empty, undescribeable angry.. I will never ever watch this show again once I finished it.. but that doesn't mean it's not good.. It's just a bit too much for me to handle.. |
| This episode is beyond animal cruelty..Hearing that dog cry is tearing my emotions apart.. I got angry at the same time felt sad..But when Lucy released her hatred, that kid at the back holding Lucy got pwned directly and exploded.. O_o Although that's what I really want Lucy to do but I feel disturbed that I'm thinking bad for others.. Really thought-provoking episode.. |

| a solid 5/5 dam those kids are messed in the head this sure does explain why lucy wants to annihilate humanity But the topics that emerge throughout the series are so dark that my conscience gets really troubled afterwards.  |

| Killing the dog was the worst scene I have ever watched. For some reason it affects me more than watching her killing those kids afterwards. But whatever... this show is sooo over the top without reason. The flashbacks where done okay.. but the start was again stupid. It's such a chore to watch and I'm disgusted most of the time. Still I think this might have been the best ep so far, so 3/5 |

| I knew the dog scene was going to happen. I tried to prepare myself for it. And I still came to the verge of crying and had to take my headphones out of my ears. Just the dog crying...makes me cringe and feel sick. It was just a puppy...not even full grown to try and defend itself. It does kind of give explanation why Lucy didn't kill Wanta...he's the same kind of dog as that one, just a different color. I know this anime is over the top, I don't watch anime for the realism. But Elfen Lied seems to know what heartstrings of its general audience to punch. |
| This episode really made me feel like I got punched in the heart. Ever since I saw Mayu's puppy, every time I saw it after that I was thinking 'please don't hurt the puppy'. Well... they didn't. Instead they hurt a different puppy. I'm a HUGE wimp when it comes to animal cruelty so after seeing that, I just flipped my shit and started crying. It's a shame because up until that point, I was really enjoying this anime. I asked a friend of mine who really loves this series if that type of thing happens again, if it doesn't, I'll at least finish this anime. But I will not watch it again. |
| I don't want to troll, I just put my POV ;p Usually, i'm a very very open minded guy... I can watch very controversal animes without getting any good or bad feelings for them, as an artist that watches art works... I love alot of animes of course, I sometimes stopped some others because the story or art doesn't catch me but it's not a reason to deeply hate them for that (like "Mmm don't like it much, but there's surely people that will like it so it's okay ^^") But Elfen Lied is an exception to me... Not because of the whole show, cuz the story is interesting. I'm not a fan of the guro mixed with cute anime girls but it's okay... I hated the show because of the scene of the dog in this episode... I don't care to see dead people in anime. But I can't bare animal torture and murder ever, anime or not... Maybe it was necessary for the story (was it really?); okay then... But why was it so realistic, damnit!!! I never been so angry against an anime... It's the first and almost only time of my entire life i ragely punched my fist in a wall because of an anime. First and only! |

| I've heard about this scene and also tried to prepare myself to it...but it turned out to be not so hard as I expected. I thought they will show us guts, twisted body and so on, but there was only blood and squeaking of a dog. Terrible, but still bearable. No tears. Maybe my heart made of stone? >_< Actually many kids really ARE so cruel in the real world. Sad but true. When Lucy killed those bullies it was such a relief... |

| Yea, I actually like dogs, and finding a dog usually means you find your first friend.....and then your first and only friend gets killed because some bitch ratted on you to a group of bully's.... Yea, this show is very depressing. But I love it |

| that last scene was hard to watch :/ really really hard! i mean this show just seriously hits some nerves and deals with some dark topics but they seem to do it so well and not in a way where i can't watch it or think its OTT... love the show though! |
| Ehh, they went too far on that last scene to show the discovery of nana's powers. Those kids were inhumane to the point where I couldn't grasp it as a reality in this fantasy setting, and it pulled me out of this show. I know kids can be that ignorant and violent irl but still. |
