| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good episode. Why the hell did Lina freak out that bad at the mention of the inspector telling her (I forgot about this weakness of hers SO SOMEONE REMIND ME PLEASE)??? Highlights: -First good fight with Xellos -Gourry being forgetful -Pushing the button because one cannot resist....LOL LOL LOL too funny -Inspector playing French noble is LOL -Inspector playing Mr. Gang leader was also LOL -Having to fry inspector was just too much of LOL in general -Being captured at the end was just BRILLIANT! I wonder if they will be ok??? LOL BIG TIME AT THE DOG AND CAT in this epsiode! |

| Lina is DEAD scared of her sister Luna. REALLY scared. Its because she tried to sell some photo's of Luna taking a bath. The punishment she received from Luna caused her to be really afraid of her. Oh and she just so happens to be the Knight Of Ceiphied giving her equal or maybe even more power then Xellos. (and she's a maid) But we only ever really hear from her when other characters mention her. she does not appear in the anime/manga/novels. Except for a single second in the opening of Slayers Next. |

Oh my GOD I forgot about those knights of Ceiphied. This was all in season 1 or 2 right?? Thanks for info! ^_^ Come to think of it maybe Luna might appear in this season! She might be the final key to getting rid of Xellos...not that I want to but it might happen considering how the plot is going so far. I already saw #9 RAW and Luna might be needed or someone as strong as her. Watch #9 and you will know why. |

Also, she's not a maid. She's a part-time waitress. And the pics were of her were her in the shower. Not so much pics, but a spell that essentially projected a live feed from anywhere Lina wanted (kind of like a security camera). She projected Luna showering onto a building, and basically sold tickets to the "movie". Luna's also got part of Ceiphied in her body, which is how she became a knight. Getting back to the episode, during the scene where Lina's running around like a chicken with its head cut off, we see various arrows with Japanese kanji attached. Anyone care to translate what those two were sets of words were? Besides the opening sequence arrowed words I mean. Loved the Xellos fight (didn't like the misspelling of Xellos's name though). |

| This episode was a total LOL :))) i just laughed and laughed almost every " plan " Xellos made the inspector do :)) ... even Xellos was loling in a corner :)) ps. About Lina's sister ... she does not appear in any pictures or episodes , she is just a " talked about " character that is supposed to be the " Knight Of Ceiphied " or something like that . She works as a waitress ... and Lina compared to her would be a kitten or something like that ... and her powers would be bigger then Lina's ... and maiby on a equal par with Xellos . | I seriously doubt we'll see her. We've never seen her actually fight. And its not like they are on good terms with eachother. (and damn that's right she is a waitress, I always get my Japanese fetish jobs mixed up ;P) Xellos probably isn't gonna let anything happen to Lina and Co. ( at least not kill them) Its Xellos. He probably has another motive for helping the badguys. |

One can always hope I suppose, though I doubt it'll happen anytime in the near future. Anyway, this was a pretty good episode. They were in a tight situation and Xellos seemed confident enough to take Lina out before she could cast the Ragna Blade. A perfect mix of fun and action. First half: funny as hell. Lina being scared of her sister. Lisa Ortiz did a really good job with the voice-acting. Second half: Holy crap, they're fighting Xellos?! And they got PWNED!!! Awesome! This show is getting better and better... |
| One of the better episodes for awhile. The fight against Xellos was rather great. and the pushing of the "buttons" along the way was funny too. |

Highlights: -First good fight with Xellos no the fight in slayers try is better.... it was episode 22. that part of that episode was hilarious and everyone's voice acting was on point. it irritated me that lina used fireball even though he's mazoku. she's not stupid. it's slayers 101 crap from the first sesaon. lina's freak out in slayers try was so more funny and interesting... so the freak out in this ep didn't do anything for me. i was wondering did they ever put in japanese text in the show as in text the characters read before this episode? that button that said push it, was in japanese but i feel like this show has its own "language" (whenever we see written stuff) and i don't recall ever seeing the characters reading japanese. |

| Yeesh, lots of manga spoilers about Lina's sister in here. I had to skip over a lot. I kept telling myself that Xellos had to be laughing his butt off in the background with these shenanigans, and surely enough halfway through the episode we see him doing just that. fedaykin said: I would have thought Xellos would be afraid of Lina's Ragna Blade, if she could hit him with it anyway, even if he can be reasonably sure that she won't use Giga Slave. There's a lot of mutual respect between them. Lina doesn't actually want to kill Xellos, and he doesn't want to kill her, either. The only way Lina would escalate it to the point of using the Ragna Blade is if the situation was extremely dire, and Xellos wouldn't be fighting to kill unless he had direct orders to do so or Lina got that serious. Keep in mind that Lina wouldn't even be able to cast the Ragna Blade if Xellos hadn't sold Lina his magic amplifying amulets in Next. That gesture contextualizes their relationship quite a bit. The fight was really more posturing than anything. Xellos had to show that he was serious about needing Lina's group to come with him, and Lina agreed to play along while saving face with token resistance. |
| What a bad episode this was. Wizer was shown before to be smarter than he acts so him now doing a lot of dumb shit just because Xellos said so made no sense at all. |
