It's time to s-s-s-s-s-s-say good bye.

Glad he at least lived up to 72, that's a rather good age.

Sad that the legends of animation are leaving us in the last few years. I konw a lot of people that will be saddened by the news in France, where he's considered a hero by thousands of Saint Seiya fans.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

Character design for Yu-Gi-Oh! did the original manga creator Kazuki Takahashi. Araki only adapted it for the anime.

Yeah, but the anime originals were still some well-designed characters: Noah, Vivian Wong, Raphael.

Yes, very sad news, and amazing to think the things he accomplished even later in his life. That should be inspiration for all of us to create new things in our own life.

Were it only for the anime adaptation or not, Yu-Gi-Oh!'s character designs were always very distinct. Huge loss for the anime industry.

RIP, Shingo.

Cutey Honey and Rose and Versailles are classics, and the ridiculous hair in Yu-Gi-Oh was kind of cool in a cheesy way too.

My heart just dropped, I feel like I just lost a piece of my childhood;-;
It's always awful when a member of the anime/manga industry passes away, but its just all the worse when you've watched and loved their anime since you were a child.
It doesn't really feel real.
I wish his family the best, so close to Christmas...>':
