| Chapter really short this time, I thought there'll be at least 21 pages. Too much Johnny focus since DGM in monthly chapters. Hope he has some special thing(not the "Heart" please, let it be someone else that I cannot guess plus awesome). Even so, I think it's awesome chapter as this shows that Allen truely has a friend that sill side with him. I laugh immediately when Kanda appear till the end of the chapter. And YEAH, KANDA SEXY EVIL SMILE!!!xD The art is really awesome, like its the same b4 DGM goes monthly IMO. This was actually a quality chapter. The art was amazing for Hoshino's standards. Hoshino's short chapters are usually a lot better than her longer chapters. She has more experience doing them. They aren't drawn out, and they get to the point. I still don't think she's gotten used to doing long chapters yet, so that's why they feel so iffy. I wish she would go back to doing them weekly, or at least biweekly. I'll be satisfy if DGM can go biweekly every month. |

| I'm pretty annoyed that the chapter was so short. I know that it's difficult for her with her hand injury, but I agree, if she has a hard time, she should get a partnership going. I don't like the turn that the art style has taken. I really like the Timmy-arc art style... it was SO beautiful! There are some chapters that are worth the wait, but this one was obviously a transition chapter from one point to the next so I'm kinda disappointed in it. I hope her hand gets better soon, 'cause I miss the fullness her old chapters brought to the story! 星野先生、がんばってね！ |
| Everyone is commenting that the chapter was short, and yes it was. But it was still a great chapter! I loved it! Kanda is so awesome :3 It's cool that he's joining Johnny to look for Allen. Not exactly sure why he wants to find him XD I'm still worried about Lavi!! |
| I mostly liked the chapter because Kanda is going to find Allen, it's just getting me wondering why he would go looking for him, unless he needs something? I didn't like how it was so short and there wasn't much happening, I'm hoping it will pick up soon though. Ahhh but I want to see Lavi. : |

| This short chapter just reminded my of how much better this series was weekly. The longer chapters really tend to... not drag exactly, but it often feels like they lack focus. |

I think i've been hearing about her injured hand for about two years or more now. That's why am saying that hand injury excuses don't cut it any more. The only hand injury that needs close to two years is if you lost your whole freaking hand and had to reattach it back(which still should be healed about now). Now that you mention it, I remember searching around for a very long time for what type of hand injury she had, but couldn't find anything. And like you said, no wrist injury she got in 2008 wouldn't heal in the course of 3 years, unless it's permanent nerve damage. I think she either has permanent nerve damage, or is just using her injury as an excuse because she's running out of ideas or just doesn't feel like it due to laziness. Also did anybody else noticed how Allen sorta looks like her?....both their hair-styles match. |

| I always complained about the art cause it was all over the place, but compared to after the hiatus, she has improved a lot. You can at least tell who is who now. About this chapter, I'm very fond of Johnny and it's good that Hoshino's focusing on him and Kanda. It gives more suspense to the 'where is Allen?' mystery. I loved this chapter, mainly because of the comradery and bonds between the science division. |

I understand that maybe Kanda wants to save Allen because he owes him or maybe they need Allen and the gang so they can save Lavi since he's in the midsts of the Noah. Who knows? Anyways When I read this chapter I got excited. Not because I found it really good but because I thought she was back to weekly shounen jump. I was like 15 pages? Guess she's back to the weekly but no. :( And if she really has a hand problem she definitely needs to get another artist to draw for her like, you've all said, and focus on making the story great. I don't know what her problem is but I hope she gets better and if it's laziness, I hope she realizes that she has hungry fans out there. |

| People, you're gonna have to get use to Johnny. Hoshino isn't going to simply drop him because a bunch of people find him "annoying." Something tells me he's going to start playing a bigger role for now. I think the fact that he left the Order and went to such measures just to find Allen is admirable in a way. Allen is a dear friend to Johnny; wouldn't you all do the same thing for a close friend? This was a good chapter, granted it was a little short and waiting a whole month makes it unbearable almost - but I don't mind. I'm sure Hoshino has something great up her sleeves for upcoming chapters, so I refuse to complain. @Missy: There was never any solid proof that Kanda died; he was only /implied/ to have since the rust found on Mugen. My guess is that he's been using these past few months to recover from his battle with Alma. |

| I want to have her old style of drawing back !!! Badly T0T! The characters which were drawn out quite good are just dunno what now, her style changed so badly ( ....and the story almost died...may be when everything settled she'll be back to normal and DGM will return to us~ |

| I actually like Johnny. His character is very different from most of the others, being weaker physically and not being an Exorcist or a Noah. Still he's got a strong heart and I think he is a good representation for general humanity in the way that Allen represents several different groups. Also I like Kanda's 'I'm not taking this shit anymore!' attitude. It'll be interesting to see the two of them work together...though I do wonder about Lavi... |
| I will say Johnny isn't my favorite character, but come on. This story would get pretty old if it just focused on the four main characters all the time. Johnny is a good and decent character. The fact that Hoshino is taking the time and effort to evolve her side characters is great--since not many will usually do that. (I would like to see more of the others, like Miranda, Timothy, Marie, et cetera--they deserve some love too! I want to see Lenalee in action too, fighting and stuff--we really haven't seen her solidly fight since the attack on old HQ with the level 4.) I think Hoshino is holding back with Lavi at the moment because she's planning something big for him; just like she's doing with Allen. These things can't be rushed or else it would make for one quick boring story. I would say that I feel nostaglic in wishing to see her old drawing style again but I love her new drawing style as well. Someone said it's starting to look more like a shojo rather than a shonen because of her new art style--which I do agree with. But I'm not complaining. I hope next month's chapter is a little longer. |

| It was obvious that Kanda and Allen were going to team up together as soon as Allen left the order but I was suprised about Johnny and I love the way Kanda and Johnny teamed up to find him didn't expect that. And I noticed a lot of people complaining because it was too short but I have to agree with some earlier posts that short and of high quality is better than long and low quality, then again I will just be happy as long as the series is never canceled :) Can't wait for more! |

| on chapter 210: so yeah, just read the new chapter.. (well, looked at a Chinese one..) quite the nice, easy-going chapter. I enjoyed it after a very long time. It does seem that DGM returns to it's old, cheery, funny and unique flavour :) chapter 210 [sorry, couldn't make a new chapter-post (I did try!) just had to write it somewhere..] |
