| According to the official website, the second season of Amagami SS titled "Amagami SS+ plus" was announced to be aired from January 2012. Each of the six heroines will be featured in a two-episode chapter in an omnibus format and the direct sequels to the first season will be animated. The new director Kobayashi Tomoki said he will put the anime-original elements forward in the second season. | Good to hear confirmation of the omnibus format. On one hand it's a shame it's only 12 episodes, but on the other any more than that may be too much. Glad to see it's going to be a direct sequel too. |

| I don't quite grasp what it will be, is it a continuation of the 4 episodes of each heroine from season 1? That's what I get from reading it and looking at the picture with them wearing their summer uniform. Nonetheless, it's great that it's airing in January, now I'm looking forward even more to next season. |
