| After escaping the clutches of the Guild, Claus and Alvis head to Norkia. The alliance forces assault progresses, with the Vanships dealing significant damage. The camera movement in this episode was pretty impressive. It kinda captured the scope of the battle nicely, and some shots of the Vanships flying by were sweet. The Vanships entering the Guild ships reminded me of Star Wars, lol. Can't say I liked the magic communication device Lucciola gave Alvis last ep being used like this, but oh well. |

| Klaus didn't even bother to mention Dio and Lucciola to Sofia and the others x) I feel sorry for them It's a shame the Guild forgot that they have superior ships that could've outmatched the Vanships. Oh well. Losing was part of Delphine's elaborate plan! xD Or maybe those star-like things are stored only on the flagship we saw earlier and in the OP. Or not. |

| I do not like where the story goes with this anime. They have destroyed its characters. Dio was kind of an enigma, he was interesting and nice and became a good friend to Claus despite technically being an enemy. What good came from him going through that pointless ceremony and murdering 30 people? What does it prove about anyone... oh that the Guild is really bad? So what? That Maestro chick is horrible person? So what. Destroying him to prove a worthless point about an enemy do not accomplish anything. They killed off Mullen so that... what? Just to prove that war is pointless? It would have been without doing that. So the whole thing setting up him with that Dsith girl and making them a couple now comes to nothing.... Look what they've done to Alex. Even if he survives, he's basically ruined as a character too- they've torn him down and humiliated him. So basically this anime has decided to tell a story by murdering or psychologically destroying all its characters except maybe two of them..... that's not a compelling story. It's just a murder-fest. Couldn't think of where to take the story so thought- "Okay well let's just kill them all an make it GRIMDARK." Stupid. |
