| I also found it a really great first episode, like Nichibotsu-kaeru said maybe even the best of this season until now. I also doubt Meme is really 39 years old, she looks like she's 25 or something. For those of us who speak Dutch, here's my opinion about the first episode. |

| When the op started i was like oh it'll have a great catchy chorus like other shaft animes ^_^ but then it was just simple,but then i realized it was perfect the way it was! ^_^ |
| Erio is OK as a character and her voice is kinda cute. However her mom...well...she is disgusting. Almost 40 years old woman who pretends to be a cute schoolgirl or something....bleh...i wanna summon Touma and ask him to punch her in the face. Some scenes reminded me of other Shaft's works like Bakemonogatari and Madoka. |

| I have no idea what I just watched. But I like it, I really like it. It has the SHAFT feel, from the head tilt to the limited animations. Where's my eye closeup though? Will continue this. Dat OP. Dat Meme. Dat Eriko. So Ami's a hot MILF while Ryuji and Taiga are in Butei Academy. And somehow I was reminded of Amano Ginji from GetBackers when I first saw Makoto. |

| I've never seen such an improbable concept in an anime. Ever. There was absolutely nothing in this first episode so I'm really close to dropping it but I'll watch the second just in case. |

| The first 10 or so minutes were kind of hard to stick through, but after that I was relieved to find out that SHAFT have done another good anime. |

Or you just want to troll XD Anyway,return to the topic, since I already know the persons behind the light novel I guess it's pretty safe to say that this show is another a must watch show for me. However the most important thing, story, will be determined by latter episode, Art 5/5 (buriki WIN) Music 4.5/5 Story ?/5 (can't judge anything from1st ep, but this have a lot of clever talks just like in Bakemonogatari and good pre-setting) SHAFT factor 5/5 Moe 9000++/5 So why shouldn't I watch this? |

I think the whole table talk was a waste and a bit boring but Erio is smoking hot in the following, and I so love to hear her say "Alien, I'm a Alien" I so want to meet the aliens that abducted so I can Falcon Punch them for WTF are they doing to a nice girl like her. I should bring Duke Nukem too for safety. "Come and get some!" No matter what you say, you cannot deny how promising the landscape is in the following,  it's gorgeous and looks promising. More later. |

Oh yes and of course Meme be trolling Makoto really hard through the whole episode. =P OP and ED were very unique. I don't know if I should like them or hate them. Looks like Makoto does + and - for adolescent points after every episode huh? Pretty interesting. He's trying to be as mature as possible. xD |

| The main problem is: But however strange was this episode, I chuckled a few times - because of the characters. Just... like mother, like daughter - the two of them are what makes me feel like watching the next episode. So... 3+/5 for this episode. |

| I can't put my finger on this show. It doesn't feel like Shaft yet at the same time you can see what you normally expect from Shaft. I'm at a loss on this show. Regardless of what it feels like, this was an excellent first episode and I'm sure it will be a hilarious ride. |

| I missed watching a guy having to deal with an apparent nut case like in arakawa under the bridge (does Shaft like to make anime with nut case girls with alien obsessions?), it's everything you'd expect from shaft nowadays, I'll keep watching Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko as a replacement for arakawa. 3.5/5 |

| I watch anything by Shaft, but this was a lot better than expected. It does resemble Arakawa, but with a younger cast. The pacing was spot on, I was watching this with a broad grin on my face throughout the entire ep, including the OP. A male lead who concludes that a girl is so gorgeous, god had to correct it with a huge minus in the brain-department, is win in my book. And aside from the usual head-tilts, it looks like they've hired an animator with a foot-fetish for this ep :D |
