DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Bulma is so annoying I hope she dosent get to waste a wish on a boyfriend but from what oolong said and then got cut off she's going to have a change of heart in the future. I can't wait to see what will happen next but I can't see where this series is going seeing as they've nearly got the Dragon Balls. |

| I just realized that Pilaf's voice actor also plays Buggy in One Piece. After googling him, it turns out Shigeru Chiba also plays Raditz in DBZ. So there's a fun fact for those that didn't know. ;) Another thing I noticed is that after Pilaf places the six Dragon Balls in a straight line, but on Pilaf's radar they appear arranged just like the stars on the Six-Star Ball. But this inconsistency is really no big deal. I really enjoyed this episode. Yamucha's reactions to Bulma are pretty entertaining. |

It kind of forces new plot developments to come up and doesn't turn a large portion of the series plot-wise into a simple, trite "quest for the mystical number of magical items". I like how the story is moving quickly. This way, other interesting things can happen--the dragonballs get stolen, the wish goes wrong, they have to start the search over again, etc. I agree. For me this was the best episode yet for precisely the reasons you've described. It's taking a long time to get going but the show is gradually getting better. I think what people need to keep in mind is that there can be multiple quests to reunite the balls. Obviously once a wish is granted they're separated again so I assume the drama will only continue after the first wish, hence why I'm glad they're not taking a long time getting all the balls. |

| @_Tokumei-no_ Legendary artifacts from centuries ago in a relatively contemporary world are probably not well known outside of those involved in their history (and they're only a few here). Bulma got acquainted with it accidentally at first, same with Goku. We can imagine Pilaf and the following ennemies learned it from some old rumour / legend. |
