I still cant get over how easily Natsu and Gray got owned. Well Lucy was expected =3. In another fight they would have stood up almost immediately gosh at least knock them down a few more times =(.And of course Erza and Jellal having a nice conversation while the Nirvana is firing haha seems perfectly normal to me =).

Lol @ self concious staff.

I like that Erza was clever enough to surpass Midnight's power (although half of it was an illusion), but it was to be expected.
Zero is such a creep.. I hope everything will be alright..

Also, I'm wondering: He's firing Nirvana right? But where does that magic power to fire it with come from? Does that come from Nirvana itself or from Zero?

Natsu Gray and Lucy where to easily defeated be Brain/Zero.
And i am wondering if Jura will wake up any time soon.

Erza fight was very nice i liked the affects of the illusion it was like a completely different world.
I somehow figured melee attacks would have much affect on him as he mentioned that as long as the attacks are magic i can stop them when he was fighting Hot Eye.
That Oracion Seis was related to Erza past just makes me wonder how many of the Dark guild have something to do with that event.
And we will probably hear more about it.

Zero's focus on mindless destruction is a little dull, but aside from that I really enjoyed the episode. Of course any episode where Erza gets to kick some ass is a good one.

Can't wait for episode 65, this arc has been awesome.

in general the pacing is slower in this arc then in previous arcs which shouldn't be a suprise since the anime catching up with the manga in a high pace.

Nice find indeed, apparantly it's not the first time the producers have done this.. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=271489#msg9930753

in the 50~ firsts episodes, there was nearly one by episode, each one was showed at the end (with the sponsors I think...)
I dunno if your fansub are letting the last screen of the video. (French fansubs are doing it)

An episode with Erza fighting is always good and this one was no exception, but Natsu and Gray shouldn't have been defeated that easily. And is the talking staff dead?

n the end Midnight was all fluff and illusion, and turned out to be a big disappointment. Then again his failure made Erza look that much more impressive. I had a good laugh at Natsu and Gray getting their asses kicked by that staff. I had plenty of good laughs until Zero showed up. Kinda clever that their guildmaster was an alternate personality. Though in the end, he's just a psycho who craves destruction. Pretty standard and cliche honestly, but then again this is a shounen battle manga. The whole trick is to work within the cliches to make something unique.

Erza=Amazing

not to bring up this topic again, but it would be much easier to tell apart who is actually defeat and those who are just temporarily knocked out if they added a lil blood
and I think I actually saw some in Erza's nightmare when she slashed Jellal

A 5 out of 5 episode for me. Yeah Erza did shine this episode and looked good doing so:). Its amazing no matter the situation Natsu and Grey find a way to get at each other.lol. And Lucy gets the patent stare down. That stuff just don't get old to me. As for the other personality of Brain, well theirs not much for me to say, he's just evil. Did i say this episode was great already?

Zero just needs to look unbeatable at first... just like when they fought the six generals first time, but oh well what happened =D

In the end Midnight was a let down. After realizing his loss he became a whimp like no other.

I liked Erza as always, she never failed.
I expected more from Natsu.
And lastly if Wendy doesn't fight soon I may draw myself into it and kill her. I've expected more from her, they made such a fuss over it, yet all she has done is complain and cry. *angered*

-Really like the battle music in the beginning. Has this been released as an official OST yet?
-Interesting how they did Erza vs. Midnight's battle a little differently. Anyways, I enjoyed seeing the battle...though it needs at least a little bit of blood.
-I wonder...why do they add the parts where they show Oracion Seis as some of the people who used to be slaves working on the Tower of Heaven? I'm very sure the manga doesn't clearly state that.
-Zero is just...CRAZY. And I also surprisingly like the staff the most out of all the members of Oracion Seis.

I guess Midnight was a failure after all or Erza was better than him. Midnight's prayer was so lame, even Cobra's prayer was better. So the new boss is Zero/Brain now? He looks cool, but I have a feeling that he will be lame. The only one who didn't looked lame was Jellal, though I don't know what to think now seeing him as a goody-good, simply doesn't fit his style.

At least this episode is better than the previous one. Midnight was an utter disappointment, from start to finish. It's good that Zero is at least - from first impressions - a better character than him. Still, none of these antagonists have impressed me as much as Jellal did. Hope to see better.

Wow the fight was kinda short but really good, too bad it was a illusion though :( Still, midnight was kinda cool :)

Zero is really... psychopatic with his obsession for destruction but I kinda expected him to kick that staff thing... and I didn't believed it when Natsu didn't stood up after that blow :( Well I guess we get some pretty nice action from his the next episode(s) but still...

The music was really good, I love the OST from this anime :D

Can't wait till next week :)

Mashima said so in volume 19's Q&A. Basically all the OS members are from the Tower of Heaven. When Jellal was building it, Brain came and chose 5 children with highest magic potential (along with Jellal) and taught them magics with his Archive Magic.

About Jellal's appearance in the preview:
