| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode made me angry at a couple of characters ^^. Of course Orlo, who is just your average douchebag, but also Jimsy when he joined Orlo for a short time. And finally Conan and Lana when they almost got into a fight. But the end was great, looking forward to Jimsy and Conan building their house :) |

| This was a good episode, I really enjoy the setting and location for High Harbor in particular, makes me wish we still lived in a world like that for the most part. :P I was a bit confused as to why Lana considered Orlo's gang selfish. I don't think they're as 'evil' as the show makes 'em out to be, they're just anarchist. But he's still a bit of a cunt. |

| Maybe my favorite episode so far. I liked that Jimsy came around - when he gave back the lamb and when he quit being an executive. I really didn't like the little sister of Orlo though. Conan just wanting to go home was nice. :) |

| Orlo is a huge jerk. Jimsy was already a good person, but I like him even more now. Good episode, the beginning was probably my favorite part, with Conan & Jimsy being chased by those "ghosts" on horseback. |

| Orlo’s gang are certainly a troublesome bunch, but hopefully Tito and the villagers will do something about it someday. It looks like Conan and Jimsy are going to build a house together. I can’t wait to see how that turns out! |

| Orlo and his sister annoyed the hell out of me,especially the latter one. And I wasn't expecting the slap.I'm just glad that things were resolved fast between Lana and Conan. Only that she had to give up her treasure left a bitter taste,but her sweet words towards her friends made up for that. |

| I think the biggest problem with Mirai Shounen Conan is it's trying to present a world where society brought about its own ruin, yet it refuses to learn from past mistakes and continues to doom itself. At least, that's what the show wants to be. However, the problems of the show seem to be driven by singular individuals with malicious ambitions. There are certainly goons and followers abiding by these terrible actions, but there's always a leader to these actions, and a lot of the problems seem to be easily fixable by removing these key individuals from power. It feels like the show doesn't present a world where society itself needs to reform itself, but rather a show where it's just the leaders causing problems, and by addressing them, everything else will fix itself. |
