| Well , seeing Luffy , Zoro and Sanji decorated like that and waking with the "A Hottie who is a swordsman brought Meat" line was hilarious xD And then I just missed Laboon :'( |

| Great episode. That was funny when they woke up to "A Beautiful lady swordsman just brought some meat!!!". The flashback was nice, I really liked seeing Laboon again. I'm looking forward to next week. |

| A little slow with too much talking and little action but the talking was evidently necessary. Great episode in the drama and comedy departments. Luffy + Sanji + Zoro = Yay! I cried reading about Brook/Laboon and still cried watching it. |

| This episode was very emotional for me... and it was amazing, I kinda of have been spoiled about this part of the story but I had already forgotten it... so it still had a lot of impact... simply amazing, the best episode of this arc so far, with no doubt. The "decorations" were hilarious, heck the entire moment was hilarious! |

| One of my favorite episodes thus far. I had no idea they would bring up the whale Laboon in this arc. It seemed like so long ago. So laboon was the comrade that he promised to come back for. It was hinted at before but we had no idea of the pirate crew. Man i love episodes like this. Great character development. It just makes brook more amazing. |

| OMG i love when oda blindsides us like this that's an amazing connection to the beginning of the story. i'd forgotten about laboon; that mountain seems so long ago. i'm happy about it too, cause i was torn up for laboon when i heard about him still waiting and attacking the mountain. |
| when i started one piece the laboon episode was one of my favourites and because the only anime i had seen before that was naruto.. i assumed that the one piece writer (oda) would just forget about it. im so glad i was proven wrong though this IS the episode where i declare oda a storytelling genius.. | Just one little flaw: I hate it how the characters introduce their phrases when they are going to tell something important: "The truth is...", "The reason why I am doing this is because...", etc. But well, it's minor. Other than that it's a brilliant episode. And I didn't like that much the Laboon arc, but damn, this is the greatness of this series, take one single episode, no, one scene, and you'll get everything magically redefined. Brook is a hell of a character. I definitely didn't expect that I could get this attached to him that soon in the storyline. I also have to praise the storyline of this series once again. Damn, how can everything be so well-connected. Also, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji getting awaken xD |

| I actually skipped this chapter, I only heard of the relations between laboon and brook, but I'm glad I did that. This episode was brilliant. Even the reused flashbacks. Very emotional, and reminded me of the old one piece I miss. I'm liking brook more and more. Why is this episode rated lower than some action episodes is beyond me. This is one of the best ones. |
