| Oh, Kazuya actually had the balls to ask Chizuru out for once? That's a development. On the other hand, I guess he wasn't prepared to be asked about liking her. Still felt like no progress was made as usual and no way they could've resolved their relationship in just the second episode. Ugh, Mami made an reappearance again this episode and she had a weird look. On another note, I think season has one of the more creative OP song compared to the previous. |

| WHAT DID REIJI MIYAJIMA DO TO DESERVE ClariS's OP!? If anything, this is easily the 2nd best OP of the series thus far! Kazuya casually just asking Mizuhara out for lunch, and the bombshell he wasn't expecting to land with her to find a place that soon, they could just settle for the VERY least with Saizeriya of all cafés lol. And since the Italian restaurant is quite the cheap affair, a glass of alcohol wouldn't matter, though Mizuhara sure gets drunk easily and having a cheek bone with Kazuya over his simple fashion, that's as worthy of a date than anything, more than just a feeling of the the usual rental date. Mizuhara popping the unspeakable question that Kazuya raised since the movie, thanks to Yaemori, that gave her quite the push, Kazuya should've been a man to tell her outright, but he clearly hesitated. Instead, all he could do was to talk about Mizuhara's grandmother, and that at least gave her the motivation to do better. And one more time for the possible confession, however, gets interrupted by Kibe and the guys bringing Kazuya to a drink. This, however, raises the fact that Kibe liaised both his grandmother with Mami to help create a website for their sake place, though their relationship as exes clearly is hiding in the dark. The wheels of romance are beginning to turn between the once-lead and the current lead girl, and where does Kazuya stand in between of this? |

And ofc, would it really be RAG without not one, but two "confessions" getting interrupted at the perfect time? Yeah, couldn’t think of a better way to pad out the runtime could we? Anyway, that FUCKING OP HOLY SHIT. Nah, can’t even say kappe carried this one, everyone went insane. The studio deadass cares more about this show than SakaDays lmaooo. It's so different and unique compared to the past three as well... man. |

| I really like the opening — it's the best one they've released so far. This episode was also a bit intense and thrilling, with the usual ups and downs this anime always delivers. I can't wait for the next one! |
| woah how did the episode drop early? i happened to check my rss feed for anything new and came accross a new ep of this. all of them look super breedable in the opening. thank heavens kazuya is so pure and innocent. anyone else would have gotten at least 3 /4 of them pregnant by now. lol mizuhara almost lost all respect from me when she turned him down for lunch. shitty move to give the client excuse after all this time. what a bitch if mizuhara is that conscious of kazuya liking him then doesn't that mean she does see him as more than just a neighbour or client? it just feels like she's stringing him around. at least let my boy hit if you're gonna play with him. |

| The opening is really good, which is one of the consistently good things about this show. Reminds me of the Love is War endings in a way. Plus it's done by the person who did the Madoka Magica Opening, so that's an automatic good sign. 38 episodes into this series and they have their first actual non-rental lunch together. Kazuya tries to confess to Chizuru twice and fails both times because of course he does. Literally the same exact thing happens both times. He's like "Mizuhara! The person I like is..." and then he gets interrupted by someone. I would be mad at this but I've grown numb to it at this point. They do it so much that it's not worth getting annoyed at anymore. The only other noteworthy thing that happened is that the blonde bitch showing up. She seems to be actually doing stuff now, which is some sort of development in the plot I guess since she has literally done nothing since Season 1. |

| Pretty catchy OP and love the med setting. Claris delivered another banger as usual. Kazu really needs to stop overthinking stuff. Getting drunk at lunch lol. Still loss of family defo is a valid reason. Nice seeing Chi chan be more aware of Kazu's feelings. Mami's up to her old tricks again it seems. Nice change to Kazu and Chi's bond which until now hasn't moved much. |

| why so many people hate this show is still a mystery to me. I'm not trying to say it's a masterpiece or anything, but it feels like everyone who hates it with a passion is just taking the show way too seriously. just watch it for the dumb fun it is, and you'll enjoy it a lot more than if you just keep getting pissed off over the 100th fakeout confession. the vibes are good(?), and the girls are funny and cute (Kazuya fucking sucks no matter how you look at it though, I won't even try to argue on that one) |

| Oh wow, they absolutely cooked on that OP, it went way harder then I ever could have imagined lol, and of course ClariS’ song was great too, we unfortunately still don’t have proper visuals for the ED but I’m very happy with the OP. And this was a pretty surprising episode, they did do a few fake-outs but Kazuya and Mizuhara actually got to eat out together, and Kazuya did eventually get his words out that he was not lying about Mizuhara being his ideal girlfriend, of course Kazuya’s buddies interrupted right after but we all know Mizuhara heard him, secret’s out now, not like it was a well kept one but I’m glad she knows lol. Also, drunk Mizuhara was pretty fun, was not expecting her to do that but I’m thinking along the lines of Kazuya in that she’s loosening up around him, it’s nice to see even if she said there was nothing to it. But damn, Mami’s out here trying to do… something with Kazuya’s grandma? Not sure what her end goal is here lol, but it is cool to see her making plays after being pretty much completely absent from Season 3, she gets a lot of hate (much like the show lol) but I enjoy watching Mami stir the shit, I just really have no idea what she’s planning here, should be interesting to see how it plays out. |

| they got ClariS for the opening, and the singer from 86 ending 2 for the ED you can tell Rent gets all the love from the creators, if only the actual story writer did the same. Kazuya made a little progress this episode at least, I didn't believe in him after fucking it up at the restaurant, but he actually said it after. Now it's up to Chizuru. |
| What is this fucking opening animation, I know it's a dream but they seriously are trying to make Kazuya look cool? LMAO Also, this episode only serves as a reminder that Kazuya claims to be in love with Mizuhara but he doesn't even fucking know her lol, he always think on how she would react to things, he doesn't know her feelings, what she has on her mind, he doesn't know anything. The funniest part is that he believes she is only high class and shit, like dude she literally works as a rental girlfriend because she doesn't have money lmao |

I give myself a promise "it's the last season I watch" and here I am... When I see posters and trailers with female characters I want to see more of them. I guess that's the magic of this manga/anime. There's something that makes us watch it no matter what logic says... That's the first time I feel like this. I always drop series easily. |

| I really liked this episode, and Chizuru looked as beautiful as always. Also, I regret to say this, but I watched Rent-a-Girlfriend in dub up until Season 3. I had continued watching a few of my first anime in dub because they felt more familiar to me. Because of that, I never really understood why people liked Mami, her dubbed voice just didn’t do it for me. But now that I’ve fully switched to sub, and heard her Japanese voice today, I kind of get the appeal. I always hated her, but now I’m actually starting to like her and looking forward to seeing her again. |
