Another one of those arranged marriages due to "circumstances". Fall 2024 had 365 Days to the Wedding and we got this for the season, although it takes place at high school. Haven't read the source material for this so but they definitely tried to make the female cast look cute, especially Akane. Might take awhile to get used to her fiesty personality. She and Saito's character chemistry is all over the place lmao, but so far it more of cartoony humor with the goofy expressions. Might be a fun anime but I expect a lot of misunderstandings and rom-com fluff. |

A black haired guy who looks as basic as this word goes, but hey, like we all know, in the world of anime, the more basic you look, the more boring your character is, the more undeserving you are, the more main character you’d be. They are THE man, in other words. Still, like they didn’t even give us some breathing space. Very first minute into the episode and the girl started sounding like a broken record, who for, very anime-ish reason, hates the main guy, because yeah, that’s only what her character is programmed to do. Nisekoi can come in mind while watching this, but nah, both mains just getting married to each other, just because, and constantly arguing every walking second, again just because, makes this something of a standalone. Btw, they could’ve tried with character designs which don’t look similar to, like, every third anime in a season, but okay, this ain’t the only thing which needed a try here. Now see them banging each other by the third or fourth episode. |

This is more of a shounen that i expected but it wasn't that bad. For now i am interested at how the couple will get closer and i wonder what kind of comedy we will get out of this. The male lead seemed pretty calm about things the female lead was all over the place she might have said yes but it was clear that she wasn't very open to the idea. She will probably calm down in a few episodes. It has to be mentioned that the female lead looks hot in that devil outfit. |

The 2nd YouTube series to get the AniManga treatment and its eventual anime adaptation, novelist Seiju Amano's Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta. a.k.a I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class, has been the rom-com show I have anticipated since reading the manga adaptation of the LN for quite some time. =LOVE's OP is just as every bit idol-ish in their songs, it's actually good. The ED by the 3 lead female VAs is decent, if not bubbly. This is exactly like Kakkou na Iinazuke a.k.a A Couple of Cuckoos, but focusing on the love-hate relationship of Saito Hojo and Akane Sakuramori being archnemeses in school, their drama witnessed by the former's close sister of Shise and the latter's best friend of Himari Ishikura, and forced by their grandparents of the former's Hojo Group's head of 60-year-old Tenryu and the latter's love interest of widow Chiyo to get matchmaked to one another, since they practically did the same towards each other. And if Saito doesn't agree to the deal, a lone lame dog will take over the Hojo Group, he's basically cornered from the get-go. All of this, with 3 days to decide altogether, it's quite the threat, even with advice from a best friend and a brocon who understands her older brother best...and the path of the wise is on. Of course, what's the best way to prove their marriage, then to have their grandparents (on their own honeymoon) give them a house of their very own, and it's packed to the brim of an expensive house just for the purpose, with all their belongings and legal agreements settled on the whim. This does not slide well on the newlyweds with their various pet peeves, especially the former clearly wanting to draw the line between each other when it comes to the sexual stuff, which she can be quite excessive with. And their first night together with THE only one bed, the initmacy starting from there, and this secret MUST never be exposed. How would Saito and Akane survive their improptu marriage wedlock? That's the life they need to anticipate next. The usual Studio Gokumi X AXsiZ collab production getting the Aniplex budget treatment, it looked slightly better than what I was expecting. This rom-com may look typical, but it's every bit just as fun as I'd hoped. Hope the anime can live up to the source material. |

I like to think the deeper their seething mutual "hatred" for each other runs, the faster they speak during the roasting matches they have every 5 minutes. Tbh I kinda wanna see a spinoff of the universe where they went ahead and made the stray dog the actual company heir lol |

I've been waiting for this one for ages and it's finally here. This felt like a nostalgic trip to the past to the age of classic tsunderes. This first episode was super amusing. Loved their interactions. The fmc defo has her mind in the gutter though lmao. Girl can't stop thinking about sex for 5 minutes. Blonde girl and the kuudere cousin are both nice too. Specially Shisei, love her. Himari really said to have 100 kids, 20 sets of quintuplets. Sheesh girl. Grandpa and grandma got no chill too btw. He's taking care of me every night now lmfao. I absolute enjoyed every minute of this episode and extremely hyped for more. OP/ED songs were both okay. |

I must not be the only one who think that this would be a much better anime if they decline the marriage at first and later get married together by their own will, and of course we'll get to see the poor dog runs the big tech company. |

What an interesting way to start, when Saito has a classmate like Akane but they don't get along and suddenly they are forced to get married. I see Saito is a smart guy in class who loves reading books and he also gets first place in grades, that's why I guess Akane is jealous so she often fights with Saito too. After they decide to agree to the matchmaking they immediately live together lol, from here the cuteness of the two of them begins, also can't wait for Saito and Akane to start growing in love with each other. |

Welp I'm in! Arranged marriage with a blooming Love square in the mix. As the saying goes "never let your wife stop you from finding your girlfriend. " Also the fing grandpa is a Billy bad ass! I don't know why, but he is freaking awesome on all accounts thus far! Also, they need to calm down with cousin-san... Pretty mediocre first episode. I think the premise is cute, but the execution so far is lacking. The title basically tells you everything you need to know, this guy is getting married to the girl he hates in his class. I thought it was going to be kinda funny, but only like 4 jokes made me laugh. The opening and ending themes aren't all that special either. Their grandparents who made them arrange marriage gave them 3 days to decide, so I thought it was gonna delve more into those 3 days and then have them agree to marry at the end, but it's fine I guess. It picks up in the last half where the two immediately have to live with eachother which I thought was funny. I'll give it like 3 episodes before I decide to drop it or not. |

We are seeing an increase in anime featuring forced marriages. Earlier in Fall 2024, there was *365 Days*, and now this one. I have not yet read the manga for this anime; it is quite new to me. The animation looks clean and promising, and the story has a lot of potential. Let's hope for the best. |

All 3 heroines are great, tsundere Akane with her great voice including, as well as the main character Saito, the humor is great. Grandpa's ultimatum made me laugh the most, even animal will be able to sign documents. I wondered what Akane's secret was that she was so quick to agree to an offer she couldn't refuse. |

Is it really hate just seems extreme tsundere behaviour. Akane is really annoying it will take time for her to settle down. Looks likes harem bait type many girls but only winner is already done so not even worth fighting. Have to say it is a comedy that's different but this grandparents are some heinous villains. Blackmailing childrens to force into a essentially social experiment. Good thing it's a silly romcom. Looks fine so far as expected in for Shisei and some Wincest hopefully. |

So I came into this show not knowing anything about it other than watching a trailer and reading the synopsis and after watching the 1st episode I'm a fan of this show. I enjoyed the silly and comedic moments and I find Akane's reactions hilarious and sometimes cute, I think she fits the mold of the classic tsundere. On that note I wonder what her grandma told her that convinced her to marry Saito, I'm thinking it's probably having a higher quality of life that would afford her just about anything she wants (or maybe it's to appease someone close to her), regardless I hope that we get to find out. About Akane, that girl has a dirty mind but Saito's imagination of her doesn't help either as shown here: Anyway, I enjoyed the first episode and I'm looking forward to the next one. |

Can tell this is going to be dumb, but maybe cute. Nothing screams rational thought like realizing you regret the way you were forced to get married so you force your grandkids to do the same. And can already tell the relationship with his "cousin" who calls him Oniichan is going to be weird. Ah Japan. But by end of the episode I already know I'd give the company to the dog. Nothing's worth putting up with that annoying chick. |

"The kind like me." Ah, a kindred spirit. "Spare me the details." Rather for me, spill the details, and animate them. "You think sanity will help you run a company?" Yep, a true kindred spirit. Are we going to have a harem or polygon here? Hirmari's secret crush has to be either Saito or less probably, Akane. Cute soft spoken loli cousin Shise is the wise one except for her obvious couscon/brocon tendency. "Acting like a stray cat with trust issues." Yeah, something is up with Akane's back story, well beyond just tsundere character. |

Nah if this happened to me im getting the rope no way I'd put up with someone I hate as my partner. Overall a funny start I like the 2 side characters and the main guy and girl are decent. Their grandparents are hilarious! I laughed especially when the grandma said that the grandpa takes care of her every night :D My guess for what the grandma told the girl that convinced her to marry is that the grandpa has a huge dong or is amazing in bed or something along those lines :P |

This show consists of a majory of exaggerated faces and unncessary yelling, but I'm still kinda entertained by it right now. I wouldn't call if witty dialogue but the almost hysteric nature of Akane overreactiong to literally anything is pretty amusing. I'm wondering how long this will hold on, but for now, I'm not bored with this. |

Potentially a generational haters to lovers story here lmao. Imagine forcing your grandkids to get married because you never got to marry the person you liked.😭 Akane and Saito are kinda giving Ranma vibes. This was fucking hilarious. Normally hate tsunderes, but I feel like Akane is gonna get a ton of development and be well written. Saito is great too. The story and general atmosphere kinda gives early 2010s anime. Could do without the cringe brocon gimmick the little sister has going on though. We’ve seen characters being forced to live together, but being forced to SLEEP together in the same bed adds an extra layer of humor and potential vulnerability for the two leads that should give us some nice character development. They both clearly already like each other a lil bit too, that’s why young people tend to fight constantly or pick with one another. You don’t just call some random your “arch nemesis” lmao. Himari is also in with a shout as best girl though, always a sucker for a comic relief gyaru. Excited to see where this goes, the grandpa had me dying throughout too. Hilarious fella. |

Well... that was absolutely joyless and perfunctory. It's like someone was able to gather up the parts that make a rom-com, but has no idea of how to make them fit together. An extremely rare Very Bad for me... it's not so much that it's bad it's incompetent with the cards in its hand. |

The premise for the story is interesting, but the execution of the events was poorly written, it made really weird and strange, not funny and humorous. Giving the company to a random dog he picked up off the street, it makes absurd, now saying he'll sell to some rival company or hated relative, that's make believable. Also, he didn't even change his mind because of it, it made the Granpda look insane. His cousin knew he had a goal and that the only way to do it, was to gain the company. And I don't know what her grandma said, but all I can see is her benefiting from this deal. She is completely unbearable, she is a selfish socialite, that only cares about what people think of her, and even if she is nice looking, her character makes her total unattractive. She claims to have a dream, which we don't find out about here, but if it is some silly goal, it will only make her character even worse, so it at least to be respectable. I suggest, just marry her for a while, then divorce mutually, give her some money to help her, and say "have a good life'. |

@maraviax I don't think the grandparents were forced to get married. They explained that they new each other from a distance, but never connected, and that they married other people, but then found each other later, after their spouses died. |

Classmates who practically became family because their grandparents are close, but now they must get married even though they hate each other. The premise revolves around the love-hate relationship between the protagonists. The animation is satisfactory and does a good job of portraying the emotional conflict of the main characters. The premise is similar to other school romantic comedies, except for the addition of an early marriage in the mix. Still, it was a funny episode and good for entertainment. I don’t believe 12 episodes will be enough to properly explore the dynamics of the main characters involved, including Akane’s friend and Saito’s cousin. Rating: 7,5/10 |

I found Akane extremely annoying in the books, extremely annoying in the manga but this was probably 10x worse because I could hear her with this medium. No fault to the voice actress of course, she did fine, just bringing her character to life is something that was a lot to take in. There is a fine line for me with funny and obnoxious and this one leans more to the latter side sadly. Won't act super surprised by the quality though, given that I have read it and the comedy is just what it is. It is a very, very straightforward and predictable series in general and the premiere basically showcases what all is there to expect, the comedy can be an appealing factor (especially for giant tsundere fans) but tsunderes are not my thing in general for the most part with only a couple exceptions, and this series justifies that to me. |

@ejleon yeah. the grandparents were forced to marry other people not each other, at least the grandfather was as it was arranged through his family he said. I just find it weird that if they didnt get together in their youth because of arranged marriage that theyd pass that same situation on to their grandkids. Seems like theyre reliving their youth vicariously through them. But, a lot of the setup is giving vibes of "A couple of cuckoos". Namely the arranged marriage while in school to resolve some past "mistake", living together and hiding it from everyone, and the parents/grandparents trying to get them to sleep together, and they're baiting the "sister but not really the sister" angle in the first episode already too. |

@maraviax Is that something you read in the written material? Because I watched that scene again, but there is no mention of having arranged marriages in the scene, and I thought they just happened to marry other people. I also thought it was that they wished they had pursued each other in their youth, instead of being older when they got together. So they wanted their grandkids to be together when young, like they wished they could have done, yes, vicariously living through them. Yeah I thought of other anime with arranged marriages too. This first episode was kind of strange in my opinion, but I am still going to keep watching. |
