| With the soda bottle rockets, the girls can do only this much, and to progress further, they head to a fellow classmate of Raimon Matataki's house for more experiments, as Umika hopes to grow out of her introversion. But with Matataki's stern personality, Umika still feels the same as before, not being able to articulate her dream of going into outer space. Turns out, both Umika and Matataki were in the same class in their 2nd year of middle school, the former hopes to be like the latter and wanting to be friends with her. But days turned into weeks, the chance that was an opportunity for her, slipped through the cracks before she stopped coming to school. It was a dream that awoken the quiet girl, that other than Yu awaking her out of bed, she gives her courage that she'll be able to reach Matataki with her words. Umika going to the robot mechanic otaku to bite her words back, Matataki only gets more agitated at her speech. It's clear from the outset that Matataki likes to make robots, and it's the same reason why Umika wants to build a rocket to go to space. And even when communications break down, Umika issues Matataki a challenge that as much as it is a one-sided affair, the former knows that she needs all the help she can get with Yu and Takaragi. Despite all the tears from Umika wanting to try her best, both girls will support her...with a lil' surprise from Takaragi: a key...to where? Ganbatte Umika! The telepathy from the stars shall reach you dearly. |

| Lovely episode as usual. :3 Again, these building projects with a cute main cast, fluffy atmosphere and the fact, that our main gang is probably going to get a new member sooner or later really reminds me of Do It Yourself!! Umika is just so adorable. <3 Do your best and win the duel, sweetheart! |

| The new girls speak her mind which isn't a bad thing but she appears harsh because of that and it's clear she has some issues since she doesn't come to school and all. The question now is will she lose and join the group and will she return to school. |

| I think I said it in the last episode discussion, but damn this adaptation is on-point! Matataki has been translated perfectly from the manga. I was super excited to see her animated and can't wait to see some of the upcoming scenes animated. Too bad MAL has such bad taste ;) They are missing out on Telepath's glory. |

| Simply beautiful episode. Loved seeing Umika reach out to Raimon! They both have a lot in common and seeing Umika break down at the end there while conveying her feelings was so sweet! This, the witches show and 16bit are the three hidden gems of the season |

| I'm impressed with how much Umika grew this episode. Not only did she sort of overcome her shyness, she told Matataki basically everything. She really opened up to her. |

| Wow that new girl doesn't hold back at all, does she. I'm happy Umika is able to stand up for her dream. I can kinda relate to Umika in a way when she says she is always on the receiving end of everything and can't do anything on her own. |

| I'm still wondering a little just what Akeuchi is. An amnesiac girl who was into space and aliens, or something more? An actual telepath, or just good at knowing how Umika feels? I'm reminded of a film where some sort of alien's soul inhabited the body of a man for a while, until they went home. I thought I could see something translatable in Akeuchi's alien language, but on closer inspection, I'm drawing a blank. >.< I'll leave it to someone else to figure out if there's anything intelligible in the initial sounds of the opening theme, but I suspect not. Challenging the school's best engineer to build a better compressed-air rocket... I'm reminded of Clannad's basketball game between the basketball club and the theatre club, but I'm not really expecting anything quite that exciting. |

| still a comfortable show, even if there is some tension in this episode. Raimon's voice is a bit like the kind some other anime would use for young boy characters. Just mentioning, I have no problems with it. anyway, took a lot of courage for Umika to keep coming back to Raimon's house to ask for help. next week is a plastic rocket contest? looking forward to it. ^^ |
| I like the new girl way more than the pathetic fmc. I don't like characters that so timid that she can speak properly like there is nothing wrong with you just grow some spine. But I think I should commend her in this ep to muster some courage to talk to Raimon and challenge her in a plastic bottle rocket contest, so let's see |

| Why is it always the younger sisters that have to cook? Proud of Umika for overcoming her fears of talking to someone new!! The girls are the reason why the ocean is populated with their rockets hahha |

| Matataki's really cool and all, and I love me some engineer girls. Her workshop setup is awesome! Honestly tho, how hard is it to NOT bully the "challenged" girl. Like, c'mon Matataki, you can tell she has severe social issues, why are you gonna make her cry like that. not cool. |

| Did Akeuchi break into Konohoshi's house? 🤨 Besides that, I'm glad to see that Konohoshi managed to talk to Matataki! Furthermore, this episode brought my attention to Konohoshi's stutter. Certain shows, e.g., the most recent Gundam anime 😒, poorly execute stuttering and it eventually becomes an annoyance. Something about its use in 星屑テレパス is very polished, it evokes feelings of fear and dread without being obnoxious. Bravissima 👏 |
