And about the "trying to look left and right at the same time"... I've been wondering if he'd ever use the rasen shuriken again or what the point of mixing two different chakra elements was. | Well that was excruciatingly dragged out... In the manga it was one flashback of like one page just before he rasengan'd the pain... They should not be doing this when the manga is so far ahead, plus they will add yet another filler season after this ordeal no doubt.. So there is no way in hell they will catch up. Therefore pick up the god damn pace!! |

This has been obviously a problem for a while now and frankly I wish television networks in Japan would just have an animated adaptation of a long-running manga run for a certain numbere of episodes at a time go on hiatus for a season and then come back with new episodes. Like if say Naruto was to start all over again in 2002, it would've made ten times more sense to me if you had 13 new episodes of the first season for the fall, go on break winter, come back again with 13 more new episodes in the spring to end the 1st season, go on break in the summer, then repeat the cycle for a new season in the fall. If stuff like that happened, studio Pierrot wouldn't have to worry at all about dragging any part of the anime and then Naruto would have a higher re-watch value because the pacing would be faster and better. I have trouble understanding why television networks can't just do something like that more often. |

I don't think people even care about getting it on DVD if the episodes themselves aren't worth watching over and over again, which is kinda what I'm talking about. Long-running anime can run off of whatever merchandise like video games and toys by default when several companies collaborate to throw money in the pot, obviously. Though I don't think it would be too much to ask if the studio also seemed to care a bit more about adapting a show than just "the episodes will be mediocre, but whatever, the episodes will be just ads for the video games." At least that way, I can imagine the DVDs being affordable. Not that I'm saying it's gonna happen anytime soon, but still. It would be nice if Naruto as an animated show was treated better than that. |

Also, this clone really withstood a lot of damage before disappearing. This kid is borderline annoying. Can't believe I actually like Naruto more than him. Other than that, no real point in this episode other than seeing what this Pains ability is. Guess in next episode Pain will rise, kick the kid, just to have him saved by someone. |

But those movies donm't really relate the the series much anyway. |

| To be honest this episode is a bit disappointing compare to the last....Shouldn't the tension of the pace getting higher and higher?..... Konomaharu can learn rasengan without Ebi sensei or Jiraiya teaching him,He learn the jutsu from Naruto,but I don't Naruto will sit by and train him for 1 week or something.Either Rasengan is a very easy technique or Maybe Konahamaru is just more clever than Naruto.Either way,Konomaharu is late by one decade compare to Naruto,hope Konahamaru can create other jutsu other than Rasengan in the future if he want to be a rival for Naruto. |

| Jigokudo didn't even realize that it was a Bunshin. But really, that Bunshin withstood a LOT of damage. Oh and Gedo - Pain's Outer Path was nicely animated, IMO. Nice episode. I heard the next one's gonna be a special. Sweet! XD And more Shinra Tensei! XD |
