| Normally, with big bands like YOASOBI, their anime songs get overblown for hype reasons and aren't as good as their non-anime songs, but this one might be one of their bests. |

| I kinda do prefer Ai Hoshino being alive and getting the spotlight she deserves. I don't know if it's intentional but I'm gonna live up to my name. The song peaked with the opening hook rap. |

| Truth and lies... The lyrics of this song are really sad. I thought the visuals of the music video added a lot more layers to it. It's definitely a song about Hoshino Ai herself — Ai singing her own personal story and her hope to love and be loved. This helps us understand her character and the perspective of an idol a little more. I loved the ending where the outro coincides with the imagery of her disappearing, after letting go of her idol mask and hugging Aqua and Ruby. Those lines were what Ai said to them in the climax of the first episode as well. I think there's a lot of symbolic imagery in here too like the red and blue eyes, white and black rabbits, rabbit costume, TV, Libra scale, bandaged heart, stars, rain and afterward, a rainbow. Overall, just a great song and a fantastic music video. |
