It's because the show was co-produced by Crunchyroll unfortunately.

So I would stay away from anything that Cringyroll touches, as to not give them any form of support.

Since as producers, they get a portion of the profits the show makes, so any merch sales from Blue Lock, means part of the money going back to them.
