Ahahaha idol lead toall music videos are no longer being part of the ranking

Seems like idol getting into the top 30 has made MAL rethink their policy, it looks like all "Music" entries are no longer seem to have a ranking (for example https://myanimelist.net/anime/48653/Yoru_ni_Kakeru or https://myanimelist.net/anime/36125/Uchiage_Hanabi), so they don't appear anymore.

Honestly, they should probably make a secondary category for music videos (I’m not sure how many there are listed on MAL though and if it’s really worth the extra programming)

Good i would not be against them purging all specials and OVAs from the main rankings
There’s some exceptions like Ruroni Kenshin ova but most of them should not be there imo

I don't get this. There's already individual rankings for just TV shows or for other categories. Why should music videos be excluded from the main ranking? It's on this site because it's anime and it should be treated as such. It getting a high score only shows people like it and it's deserving of whatever rank it gets. Yet this gets excluded when stuff like Shitcom which is barely anime does not.

If it’s ever returned to the ranking then this may be a blessing in disguise. The anime attracted way too many trolls and bots so I’m at least glad that this is now outside their radar

It's no longer in the 'Top Anime' but it still is on top of most MVs (See: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2089649#post42 and https://myanimelist.net/topanime.php?limit=19950). I don't get why they still won't approve the official CM I submitted for this entry when MVs don't rank anymore (See: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2089242). They can just approve that CM for the preview video. It won't really matter or affect the rankings anymore, anyways. I'd like to see the CM as this entry's preview video.
