| Recently, I made this 5x5 image in photoshop of 25 of my favorite albums. This made me realize that I do have somewhat of a recognizable music taste. I like music that's heavy, noisy, intense, and sometimes moody. Also looking back, the album that probably got me to start listening to more music like this in the first place was probably Nirvana's In Utero. How bout you? Predominantly rap albums, but I also enjoy pop, rock, and electronica. Haven't heard any pop or rock records (besides In the Court) that resonate with me enough to call one a favourite, yet. Judging from these albums, I like albums that have memorable, distinct sonics/vibes. Works that build worlds and stuff, y'know what I mean? And good presentation (i.e., cover art). Me finding out about Death Grips through a meme about a year ago was the catalyst that made me delve into more niche rap music. edit: fixed image link. |

| I'd describe my favorite songs (since I don't really care for albums, except couple rap ones) by words like mostly danceable, party songs and energetic. Fav instruments would be synthesizer and accordion. Few tracks that tell what I want from a good song |

| really just depends on my mood. i can listen to almost anything but it mostly varies between: softer melodic vocals and a bit of post rock, into metal and screamo, back into electronica and then into ambient. so yeah - kinda whatever tbh. i suppose i don't really listen to much rnb, or hip hop? but i don't hate it or anything, just a time and place for it that i guess isn't right now. |
