| Zoya's face about to be uncovered in the OP next episode supposedly. The direction of the boxing felt underwhelming though, I felt like the series lacks charm in that aspect but the narrative were tedious it's amusing |

| All the Dezaki references makes it the best episode by far but for a PA Works anime, it's so conservative. Most of the earlier fights are just still frames and the final one was shown with close ups mainly. |

| I love how serious the anime is about showing us the absolutely ridiculous story. The way that is done often reminds me of the Yakuza Games. Especially in this episode I half expected the manager to give us a "Kiiryuuuu-chaaan!" Also the animation is better than I would have expected and opening as well as ending are really good and as ridiculous as the whole show. |
| They actually get a real Russian voice actress to voice a Russian character. That's applaudable. Tbh I don't really like her tone and voice, but oh well. That manager is a fucking ass hat. All she does is sacrifice her maids with her stupid ideas. First she almost got all of them sold to work on some ship in some ocean and now she sends Ranko to lose in a rigged fight. I get that that's her character but good lord does she boil my blood so much. On a lighter note, Ranko is a beast in that ring. If she had used her strength when fighting Zoya, Zoya would've lost almost as fast as the other girls. That last punch from Ranko is very fucking clean and feels so satisfying to watch.  |

| After the second episode I was a bit worried this show would be a let down, but this episode was just as good as the first if not better. Really think they need to keep it dialed up to 11 just like this episode and episode 1, and it'll be all it ever needs to be if they do that. |

| LoL episode. New girl's Russian is legit native! Unlike Engrish we find in anime, they apparently found a real Russian to voice her. Funny how two monsters understand each other without words lol. Absurd BS anime but starting to like it. |
| Hearing convincing Russian monologue spoken by a fluent VA made me so elated. A different show this season just introduced an American character who finds the weirdest line reads for every English sentence, and this is a breath of fresh air. (Though, maybe I wouldn't catch the difference otherwise, since I don't actually speak Russian..) More importantly, Cafe Doinky officially has its fifth maid, so you know what that means: no more visually borked opening!!! I find it curious how after the manager does an art shift in that one scene, Shiipon (that's her name, right?) pulls out a camera on her. Did she sense a potential reaction image? Maybe I should have done the same... Speaking of, when? did she acquire that eyepatch? I literally became aware of it in that scene, and thought that it just popped up on her as part of whatever reference I assume they were making, but then the eyepatch remained in following scenes and then someone threatened to give her another eyepatch and I was like, "wa..wait a minute..?" On a different note, there's a visual pun in this episode that wasn't translated in the subs. Once Wahira discovers the true nature of Fluffy Sweet Club, the neon sign outside is seen partially flickering out - and later shots show a matching sign inside the venue that mirrors the change. With the letters turned off the name "AKIBA fuwa fuwaa suiito kurabu" becomes "AKIBA fuuwa fuwaa suiito kurabu." |
| I still haven't figured out what the show is, a crazy masterpiece or crazy as batshit comedy. Ranko is great whatever her motivation is, I like that Nagomi slowly starts to like her. Cute hair decoration on hair XD The russian girl was cute, the voice acting was really great, I also thought the accent was cute. The manager is such an idiot, always close get everyone killed, because she indebted to the Yakuza wannabe. fortunately in the end, the enemy always gets obliberated and the more pressing money problems vanish. The MMA stuff looked hard, but good jabs and dodging. |

| very great episode lol, from Shootouts, Casinos to Fight Clubs, this anime never ceases to amaze me with the idea of Akiba Maids having the lifestyle of a Yakuza, instead of drugs their dealing with a Premium Figure lol, lovin' this anime so far |
| Alright underground fight club is ticked off the box and holy shit what an episode. We got some impressively animated fight scenes, character philosophy, character development , backstabbing's and scheming's all in one ep. Lmao of course Tencho would sell an organ or two, i laughed at their reactions the entire time the Ranko started winning. Like how they do manage to fit in character development amidst the chaos. Ranko fighting to defend the cafe's name and punching back against the slander while Zoya reflects on her life becoming a maid and seeing Ranko's determination all in one ep was pretty good. Loved how Ranko kept Nagomi's hair tie, shows she is thoughtful of others. Would love to see more of the two. Also will say i fucking choked on my water when i realised that in their universe, anime figures get treated like gems being priced at 10million yen. IDK as someone that collects them, imagining the Yakuza treating my Prize figure Rem from RE: Zero as a contraband item that was worth millions cracked me up. |
