| More training and trying to get stronger... Not the most exciting episode but it's preparing these characters to fight inevitably stronger foes in the future. Yuuhi and Samidare had some catchy chemistry this episode. |

| So we get some backstory on Sami and her mother. I'd say my biggest complaint this week is that Yuuhi didn't insist on shacking up with Sami. He should've been dragged out of his room kicking and screaming. So tragic that Hisame wouldn't let them sleep together. |

| Good episode. Once again, it's episodes like this that make me think what this show could have been if the production was just better. The story is still the best part about the show, but I'm not that invested because of the janky animation. |

| A golem being an ally? That's certainly new for the Beast Knights, and naming it Montag is just plain ridiculousness (for its time). But it's a good training partner that's for sure. Samidare's dream with her mother, that was certainly foretelling. And the fact is that their mother is coming back home, so Amamiya gets a free pass living in the Asahina household. A call from back home, and Amamiya still has no courage to face his grandfather after his discharge. This puts both him and Samidare at the cusp of their own internal family struggles, and it's a complicated mess. The feud between Samidare and their mother was years in the process. even her older sister Hisame thought of it as so. But nothing beats a heart-to-heart talk between sisters rid of a mother who's progressing much as a doctor overseas, and this is all fine and well, but for the younger sis whom always have felt that she lived her life alone apart from Hisame, a much-needed talk with her mother will suffice before her departure, but not without Amamiya tagging along. That said, the pillows with an insert song, that's nice. Anima has awakened, and what's her purpose? |

| Another actually pretty good episode. Can't wait for Anima shenanigans (and the big sighs of all the animals). She's so funny. |

| Since this series can't do action, it's a its best when it comes to slice of life, as long as it is not rushed. |

| Finally made it to ep 11. Been out of the loop for a while on the anime stuff and was excited to see Hoshi no Samidare had made it to TV. Now, not so sure. I remember liking the manga when I read it, and perhaps I am missing some details from then, but all this growing up, adult, smile, & cry stuff is getting a annoyingly repetitive. Emotional scenes for the characters is just fine, but I'm not fifteen any more. |
| Some bonding between Samidare, Hisame and mother to deal with guilt for years of seperation which is better than the action scenes it has done so far. |

| While I'm confused, I think I got intent so nice episode. Also MC other than start was actually really good to both the sisters telling them to talk it out. He took his own advice too. Apparently this awakened Anima, what twist will she bring. |
