Synopsis

College student Yuuhi Amamiya's monotonous life is turned upside down with the appearance of Sir Noi Crezant, a talking lizard claiming to be a knight of justice. Crezant elaborates that the world is in peril—threatened by the mage Animus who wishes to annihilate it with his Biscuit Hammer, an enormous structure suspended in Earth's orbit. As the newly appointed Lizard Knight, Yuuhi must fight alongside other Beast Knights to protect the princess and save the planet from destruction.

Unimpressed by the prospect of risking his life, Yuuhi continues his day as usual—until a golem created by Animus suddenly confronts him. Yuuhi is instantly overpowered, but his neighbor, Princess Samidare Asahina, luckily rescues him. To his surprise, Samidare's intention starkly differs from Crezant's; instead of saving the world, she aims to destroy it with her own hands. Captivated by her firm ambition, Yuuhi resolves to become stronger and help Samidare realize her goal.

As the pair continues to fight against Animus' golems, Yuuhi finds himself gradually gaining an interest in life—but the chains of his past trauma may restrain him from progressing further.

After seeing so terrible score and so many negative coments I wondered; maybe this time truly something was wrong with the show, but after watching it i can say; NOPE. It is again the same case: popular manga of renowned author gets anime adaptation that is objectivly speaking "OK" but it couldn't live up to unrealistic expactations of manga fans, so they release their frustration by giving bad scores. Could this anime be better? ofcourse, most could've be. Was it a trash? ABSOLUTELY NOT

Mixed Feelings
Hoshi no Samidare, also known as Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, offers a blend of action, fantasy, and emotional depth. While the series is overall decent, its pacing is a notable drawback. Events often unfold too quickly, making it challenging to follow the storyline and keep track of what is happening.

Despite the rushed narrative, the anime delivers several emotionally impactful scenes that stand out. These moments provide depth and resonance, giving viewers a chance to connect with the characters on a more profound level. The character development, although sometimes overshadowed by the fast pace, is well-crafted, with each character bringing a unique story and personality ...

Yep, 6/10 so a D. Almost failing, but the soundtrack and general story line were actually very good. The animation, pacing, and overall implementation were not good. The animation was especially bad, the pacing ruined some otherwise impactful moments, and the generally bad direction further caused the anime to be one I wouldn't recommend, but not one I hate everything about. The bones were there, I haven't read the manga, but I had already heard the name Lucifer and the Biscut Hammer before. That and the especially scathing reviews leads me to believe that the manga is worth your time. This however is probably not, ...
