| I started Servamp, Noragami and Paripi Koumei because of their OP songs. Noragami especially, since after reading the synopsis I didn't really want to watch the anime, but because the song was so good I decided to give it a try, and I did not regret it. With Paripi Koumei I wasn't against watching the anime, but I wasn't interested in it at all before listening to the OP. Also, not OP, but I watched ID:Invaded solely because I've heard the ED song and I really liked it. I also started Da Wang Rao Ming because I saw the OP on twitter and both the song and the animation were awesome, but I never actually finished it. |

The closest I got to that would be watching "What's in an OP" by Mother's Basement, but while those videos are ABOUT anime OPs, they of course contain more context and interpretation than the mere OP itsself, so getting swayed by that isn't quite the same, I think? But if it DOES count, that's how I started My Hero Academia and Paripi Koumei. Though I intended to watch the second one anyways, just kinda forgot about it until I heard the OP x) |
