| Gaku is going crazy again, mopping people left and right. He's insanely strong (even when controlling a different body) or perhaps these testers ain't all that hot. Hard to tell when anyone can become a jobber at any moment. However, it still speaks volumes about old man Takamura who seemed to be even more skilled gauging by the brief clash these two had. Intense action chapter. |

Sakamoto's fangirl and the other guy are still able to fight together with Shin. Intense.. not sure if they're able to defeat him even though he's just using a puppet.. |

| I feel like the concept of vr fighting was perfectly executed while mixing clean fight choreography and not shying away from upping the death count. Gaku is strong af! There's a panel in there that reminded me of Annie spinning a survey corps' cadet in season 1 of aot. |

| Sakamoto Days is such a fun shonen, I feel like this has a great mixture of intense oh shit action, fun/comical displays, and true shonen heart. The latter is shown with Shin, and being helped by the two enemies turned allies he faced throughout the exam. And Gaku using the instructors as weapons themselves is both impressive, messed up and kind of amusing. And the VR thing was just used for some pretty funny moments and paneling. The moment with Shinaya eating air was pretty funny but beyond that they used the VR gimmick as a nice way to build up reveals (like at the end, showing it from Gaku's perspective first), or twists with the teachers getting involved. |
