| This episode was good and intense but when it comes to gambling or betting the best episode was when Jotaro had the biggest bluff in poker history betting Kakyoin Avdol and his mother’s soul on a bluff risking it all that was one of the best episodes in part 3 |

| The first episode I found to genuinely be a solid and entertaining watch in this whole cour so far, Episode 5 was good but also had its rough dragged out, dialogue issues for me that frustrated me a bit there. Nice resolution too to this episode, this whole one gave me some Stardust Crusaders vibes with the gambling concept through a very simple game mixed in with the over-the-top nature that are the stands being involved. It's not perfect, some little pacing and visual issues are here too but it's not as apparent to my watch as it was in the previous episodes where most of them were pretty boring and underwhelming to me beyond just the dialogue and visuals. |

| 🍒*Kakyoin flashbacks* Damn, Foo Fighters too is goofily cute with the inhuman behaviour. Controlling the water to expand the inmate's cheeks to the point of bursting and drinking the same water she spat out.. Oh, a gambler. D'Arby all over again. Damn the liver, that's pretty brutal (classic JoJo). When they are tempted by money, Ermes behaved irrationally, no way they could reach 100 without the help of their stands by sundown. Miraschon failing to attention to what Jolyne's bet clearly was (1000 throws, nothing more, nothing less) is her downfall. And yet Jolyne puts on that ruse with Foo Fighters of having her catch the ball too to convince Miraschon. This genius is truly Jotaro's daughter. |

| Ah, some typical Jojo's cheating for this episode's fight. If this stupidly-named Mary Lynn Manson stand is omnipotent enough to know when someone has broken the rules of a wager with Miraschon to collect their debt (as happened to Ermes, when Miraschon did not know for definite that the rules were broken), then it should've also known about that little "loophole" Jolyne pointed out about the catcher not being agreed upon and hence not attacked her to collect a debt. |
| Miraschon is one of the cutest chicks we've seen so far in the show, but despite her beauty, her bad habit is downright vile. Vile enough to warrant her getting absolutely pummeled by a thousand baseball impact, fuck yea! When it comes to games with rules, the rule better be concrete or else Jojo will find a way out of the predicament. |

That's a good point I was going to say because Marilyn agreed Miraschon got it wrong but it wasn't that, I guess it was just a mistake on the order of events, like you said, they should have gotten Start Platinum's disc and Jolyne's organs back, then defeat Miraschon and finally the scene of Hermes getting her liver back. |

| I missed the detail about Jolyne's bet being on performing 1000 throws without any other conditions attached. Still, she could've simply beaten up Miraschon while the elevator was going up isntead of waiting to make a dramatic reveal. Now that they obtained her memory disc they should discover Pucci's identity unless there will be some mental gymnastics to justify them not doing so. |

| Big lesson from this episode. Don't ever lose a bet. The consequences are brutal. Miraschon's stand, Marilyn Manson is here to collect her debt. Don't bet something that you know you can't win. Her stand will take anything off you that is worthy of value such as your organs. That is no bueno. I love how this started from betting $100 on catching a baseball 100 times to betting $1000 for catching 100 times again. It backfired for Miraschon as her face gets pummeled by a baseball 1000 times by Stone Free's magnificent barrage of stringed pitches. |

| Never mind, so Pucci is a normal Stand user. I thought Pale Snake was an independent Stand like FF. I wonder what his history is with the Joestars. Is he also one of Dio's henchmen like Johngalli A.? That was the most high-stakes and tension-filled game of catch I've ever seen, lol. How Marilyn Manson worked reminded me of nen powers from Hunter x Hunter with its rules and absolute resolution. |
