| Angel Beats! in 2010 but it was dethroned by Clannad right away since I watched it right after Angel Beats! and it hasn't changed since. For overall, besides Angel Beats!, I'm sure there was Card Captor Sakura in my favorite list once upon a time. I still like AB! and CCS a lot though, I just dont think of them as favorites anymore. |

| Neon Genesis Evangelion. That said, me putting it down a peg has less to do with the show/franchise itself, and more that I was completely up my own ass with how "Deep" the show is, as well as me being a snob towards ecchi. But, there came a certain point around 2011 or 2012 where I decided that Ikkitousen was both more enjoyable to watch and more of an underdog to root for, and the rest is history. That, and NGE just don't inspire any creative endorsers anymore. |

| DBZ ---> Naruto ---> Ghost in the Shell SAC. DBZ is kinda flimsy because I didn't really have a notion of a "favorite anime" back then. Naruto, though, was peak fiction as far as I was concerned. Ghost in the Shell easily dethroned it, and it has been my #1 since the first time I actually made a top list. |
