Who do you think is the most relatable anime character of all time.

It's hard to win an argument against smart people, but impossible to win an argument against dumb ones.

I guess Yuu Ishigami from Kaguya-sama: Love is War. It is the almost exact representation of an average person. It's great as well as counterproductive: anime characters tend to differ from reality by more exaggerated and surreal characteristics, but in the case of Ishigami, he is characterized by being a normal guy who has his moments of nervousness and subtlety.

I think it's wildly different for everyone. Were it for myself, it would be Shirou Emiya from the UBW route. But based on the general view of him, I'm very clearly in the minority. I know a lot of people latch onto that Hinata Haikyuu guy and that fellow from the SNAFU show, but people have so many differing life experiences that like. One definite answer probably doesn't exist?

I think Okabe is very relatable, not for his "mad scientist" idea and all but for his deeply rooted compassion and the wall he tries to use to put on a facade of indifference. I think most people can relate to his feeling of not wanting to appear vulnerable.

Yes I am. I don't see what that really has to do with this thread or my replies?

The guy gave his response, it was actually the best response in this thread.

I gave him credit for it, and said within 2 months he would give up trying to talk to you retards cause it isn't worth it.

What part are you missing here

Because you hate elitists, I thought you were sarcastically mocking him for being one by saying "mental midgets" to imitate how the person thinks

With that being said, you probably shouldn't unprovokedly refer to the anime community as "mental midgets" if you hate elitists because it seems like a very elitist thing to do

That would be the character most similar to yourself, or at least how you would like to be seen yourself. Because of that, there isn't a single "one size fits all" answer. Relatable is as diverse as MAL's users are.

Greetings. My pick would have to be Haruhi Suzumiya from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". She simply wants to spice up life because of how BORING it is, and meet something/or someone cool, which I do the same. She gets melancholic from boredom, can't handle routine and simply wishes for a more interesting life. Not to mention, throughout all of that, she maintains hope, hope for her dreams to come true, and actively tries to make them happen. Again, I do the same. Plus, she's super cool.
